Global Steem Adoption: Steemjet Delegates Onboarding New Users Through Workshops And Seminars
Steemjet has one vision: Global Steem adoption. For the last few months, Steemjet delegates have been engaged in many activities aimed at onboarding new users and also retaining current users by utilizing their delegated Steempower to upvotes worthy contents in the Steemit community.
On Friday 22nd July, the Steemjet pilot organized a workshop for corps members and young graduates in Nasarawa state, Nigeria. The event was organized together with @joyce-okpobo, a new delegate and two non-delegates @godsnana and @rankyb.
Even when the event was fixed at about the same time Nigeria was playing in the Fifa world cup, 48 participants still sacrificed the first half of the match to attend the workshop.

It was also a joyous moment to have the Steemjet CEO @uche-nna who travelled over five hours to speak at the event.
Also speaking at the event was @jingis07 a regular contributor to Utopian-io who encouraged the participants to bring their skills to the blockchain and also educate them on how to contribute to open source applications through Utopian-io.

From the data gathered at the workshop, it is clear that a lots of people in Africa and around the world still do not know much about blockchain and cryptos to talk of Steem and Steemit. Therefore, this is a special call on everyone to take it as a personal task to talk to people in your local community about this new technology and the new gifting economy that comes with it just like @deandaniel and others did on Saturday.

Wow! This is a good move, the north is really suffering so much from poverty and I think this will go a long way to help northerners.
The concept of helping the poor in the north brought about the birth of @steemminna
The satellite of @steemjet should move to Niger State as the @steemminna team will be willing to help in organizing a seminar at Federal University Of Technology Minna, Niger State.
You can start plans on running the seminar and document your progress with the community. I'd love to be there if it's scheduled when I'm not engaged.
The team has being working is just about the steemjet delegates assisting with the needed equipment like the project and public address system. The team will help get a venue for the meeting by taking permission from the Sug which will be granted without much delay seeing that it will help the students.
As part of the @steeminna initiatives, I as a member of the steemminna team made a visit to a primary school here in Niger state with a tailor and our purpose was to pick out 20 of the school children without uniforms and those with bad uniforms as well and that is possible through a sponsor from Nigeria. The sponsor also asked us to get sandal measurements as well, which I did

The best action in introducing blockchain in Nigeria, the @steemjet project is very useful.
initially we have held a workshop about introducing Blockchain to the people of Aceh. although there is no sponsor or no one to give full support from the Blockchain especially Steemit party, but we are very willing to share knowledge for the community.
So, now we have been assisted by @dimimp in @steemjet, then I and my friends are still eager to hold workshops again to help people who are still wondering about Steemit or Blockchain in general.
