Announcing - Steemit Iron Chef Contest - Launching soon!

Well for me it's nearly over and I'm already looking forward to an amazing start of the week!
but I really have some great exciting news to let you all know!
I have been here on Steemit for 2 months now and it's already like a second home for me. I have met so many amazing Steemians on the way and we've been sharing so much of our likes and passions on a daily basis, it is really wonderful to be here!
As many of you already know, I have been chef for 15 years and have been working for some great 5 star hotel brands like The Westin and St Regis in Mauritius as Executive chef the last 4 years! Food is not just my passion...it's my life!!!
This is me during my time at The Westin Mauritius as Excutive Chef!
One thing which I really enjoyed here on Steemit are all the contests
that are being held on different subject/themes!
And you guessed it right, my most favorite ones are the cooking competition!
Unfortunately I find that there are actually only 2 contests running for cooking! The steemitculinarychalenge which is hosted by the wonderful @woman-onthe-wing and the steemitsandwichcontest organized by the great @jaybird!
I've been quite successful too by winning a couple of prizes in the steemitculinarychallenge!

And in the last one, a got the second prize
There was a third contest which was held by @patelincho and rewarding with whaleshares where I won on both time I entered!
When I see the amount of food recipes in the feed everyday, it is just unbelievable! Wow! Really a lot and amazing talents all around the globe! We really need more food contests to bring together this community even more closer!
Well now let's get to the good news!
After thinking about it for quite some time now, I have decided to launch a contest too! Yes a food contest for all you food lovers on Steemit!
But wait ... this is not the usual contest that we see normally... It's more than that!
I will give below some details about the running of this one of a kind cooking contest...I made it so exciting for everyone!
Steemit Iron Chef
Contest name : Steemit Iron Chef
This contest will be run each week, and the theme will be based on a
single different product each week.
For example, one week it can be 'Apples'!
The participants have to sublimate that particular product in either a starter/main/dessert!
There will be prizes for the one coming first, second and third - Not yet finalized, will be announced soon!
Well it does not stop here...
The Steemit Iron Chef is not just about one week participation!!!
All participants will be awarded with points on top of their weekly winning prizes :
1 point for entering a valid entry
3 points for the 3rd prize
5 points for the 2nd prize
10 points for the one coming first
All these points will be calculated on a weekly basis till the end of the year...
The one with the highest point at the end will be acclaimed as the Steemit Iron Chef 2017 and will hold this honor till next year! Same as a league!
But what does he get as prize???
Well guys , I have created another account, @steemit-ironchef (It's live and already receiving contributions!!!) which will act like a donation wallet!
All the SBD received will stay there till we complete the year 2017!
The structure of the distribution will be shared soon!
So here we are with the good news that i had to share with you all!
