What are possible side effects?

The main side effects are the following.

Very rare (in less than 1 in 100 people)

  • Medicine-dependent headache. This headache may occur if you use this medicine for more days than not against headache. After a while, the headache will develop if you do not swallow the medicine or later than usual. You can be so dependent on it.

  • Codeine as the unbranded paracetamol / codeine. This combination is only available with a recipe
  • Vitamin C and sometimes Caffeine under the brand names Citrosan, Hot Coldrex, Antigrippin and Finimal Cen as the Brandless Paracetamol / Vitamin C
  • one or more other painkillers and sometimes vitamin C or coffein under the trade names APC, APaC, Excedrin, Daro, Para Donor, Pain Donor, Sanalgin and Saridon
  • tramadol, under the brand name Zaldiar and as the brandless Tramaol / Paracetamol. This is a strong painkiller that is only available on prescription.
