Returning pimple: cause & solution chronic pimple

With a recurring pimple you will always get a co-eater or pimple at the exact same place. So in case of a recurrent pimple or meal, the same pore is inflamed / infected.

Often the puppy in question is also getting bigger and fiercer back... anything but desirable so! A returning pimple usually does not resolve itself. In this article, you are therefore reading the causes of such recurrent pimples and what you can do...

Cause recurring pimple

1. Damaged pore

If you get a pimple, pimple or co-eater in the same place, it is likely that the pore in question is damaged. For example, a damaged pore may be caused by squeezing too often and violently on the skin. The result of too much and too tight squeezing is that the inflammation can penetrate deeper into the skin, thus preventing the pimple from completely disappearing, but only temporarily reducing and then returning.

2. enlarged pore

An enlarged pore is much more sensitive to developing pimples. The bigger the pore, the faster it gets dirt and bacteria in it ... With a co-eater as a consequence. Thus, a recurrent pust can also be caused by a combination of a poor enlarged pore and provocative factors. Think of inciting factors:

  • Often with 'dirty' hands touch your face
  • Do not thoroughly clean your skin (and therefore pores)
  • For example, the use of makeup and / or care products that hide the pores (fatty hair products can make sure you get pimples every time around your hairline.)
  • Fatty nutrition (see also: Relief pimples & nutrition )

So a pimple that is always coming back to the same place is all too often the result of a damaged or enlarged pore...

Is it a pimple?!

What many people describe as a recurrent pimple, does not necessarily mean a pimple (or co-eater). There are several skin conditions that resemble a "normal" pimple, but in reality, something different. If a pimple always occurs in the same place, then it is good to investigate whether it is actually a pimple. Other conditions that are often confused with a recurrent pust are:

  • Rosacea (an acne-like skin problem)
  • Cyste (clogged sebaceous glands may lead to, for example, sebaceous cysts / atheric cysts)
  • Abces (advanced pimples are a kind of abscesses, but not every type of abscess is a pimple)
  • Bacterial infection (pimples are bacterial infections, but there are more types of bacterial skin infections than acne vulgaris)

An assumed pimple that always appears in the same place does not necessarily have to be a pimple or a co-eater, but it may also involve a different skin nose...

Solution

If a pimper has occurred more than three times in the same place, please go to the general practitioner for a while. Depending on the probable cause, you will be prescribed a medicine or referred to. Initially, you usually get an antibacterial cream to lubricate at the site of the recurrent pust. This can be combined with an antibiotic cure to kill any bacterial infection.

If this does not solve the problem, you will usually be referred to the dermatologist who can investigate the problem further. In some cases, the skin is then treated with additional medication. In other cases one can decide to completely remove the pore in question to remedy the recurrent pimples.

Retarding pores occur

Once you have had a recurrent pimple, you probably want to prevent such pimples as much as possible. Therefore, keep the following tips in mind:

  1. Clean your skin at least twice a day with a product that is suitable for your skin type. Note: A recurring pimple does not always mean that you need an aggressive acne product. Ask for advice at the store, at the dermatologist or beauty specialist.
  2. Do not push too much (or not at all) on pimples, as a result, you can permanently damage your pores and increase the risk of recurrent pimples.
  3. Do not use any makeup sponges, brushes and brushes for too long to prevent the spread of bacteria.
  4. Regularly shake your pillow .
  5. Visit the sauna or steam bath occasionally
