What CONTESTS brings to Steemit

Isn’t Steemit such a wonderful platform. The more I spend time on it, the more I am fascinated by it. Steemit has surely stand out from other social media platforms.

Steemit has this something which I do not really see in other social media platforms, CONTESTS

Kudos to the many Whales, Dolphins and even Minnows who created all these CONTESTS for the Steemit Community. I strongly believe that Contests brings many benefits to the Steemit community. But just to list some key benefits in my opinion:

Bring Steemit Community Closer

When a contest is run effectively it is a great way to build a strong following. It creates excitement and generates interest, bringing people back. It builds and brings the community closer.

Building a community is definitely a strong point to bring up when talking about the benefits of a contest. It creates a talking point.

Unearth hidden talents

True that there might be people who are more talented in the skills required for the contest. But what is amazing are Steemians who are willing to give it a go even though they know nuts about that particular skill. And that is the key. Steemit does make people move out of their comfort zone and adventure out trying new things that they never know they could do.

Create Awareness

When people do upload their creation, it allows other Steemians to start noticing them and interact with them. This could potentially result in more followers.

SO WHAT ARE YOU STEEMIANS WAITING FOR !!

Find a contest to participate and get your creativity juices steeming. Cause who knows, a bigger prize awaits you even though you do not win the contest.
