Don't Behave on Steemit as I used to 🙏 (Sharing my bad experience)

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Holla to all newcomers and my followers 👋🏻

I'm writing to share some experience on Steemit with you. I have been writing on this platform since last Friday and currently I have got 400+ followers. Would u like to know how I did it? I gained so many followers by not only writing unique posts, but also asking various steemitians to follow me, upvote and resteem my posts. I also wrote comments on articles with links to the posts I wanted to become more popular. You know, it seems not so bad in terms of gaining followers, but not READERS.

Today, I have thought everything once again and decided that I am going to continue posting articles about my life, the life of my golden retriever pup Mr. Oliver, and cryptocurrency, but without attempts to spread it all around the platform. I also decided to clear the list of people I am following and leave just those who I will definetily read day to day.

And u know what? I feel much better now, and have more motivation again to work, work, and one more time work. I wanna have real readers, the people who will appreciate the content I produce and put my efforts to.

If you are a new one person to this platform, remember: "Earn money isn't an easy deal, you should work hard and only then u will get paid."

If you are the one who's following me and see that I have already quit following u, sorry I didn't want to bother u, just wanna make this place a little better and cleaner.

Peace and love to all of you Steemitians from me and Mr. Oliver. Hope to see again in my blog 💕

I agree with you. After getting to a 500+ level which was thrilling initially, I have realized that the value is in the comments that people leave behind. Some of the comments are really thought through and enriches the post. I write about gold, silver, crypto, survival, world events on a daily basis with a hope that people will realize that we are going to have mother of all bubbles burst sooner than later and it will be chaotic. Hopefully, through my blogs they learn something and are prepared to cushion the initial shock. I don't know if you are following me or not and it doesn't matter but do read the 6 part series on understanding what is coming and how to prepare for it. The link for the 6th part is given below and has links for previous 5 parts in there.

you are correct. this is looking like the 2007/2008 era. maybe 2006/2007. I think we are six months to a year away before the bubble pops. It's all overinflated - including the housing market. Some homes here that sold for $75k are going for $400k, within ten years. Talk about a bubble!

I don't even want to think about those things may probably happen soon :(

Oh! Sounds exciting) will check)

agreed. there's much difference between a popular author and a valuable post. carry on together!
