Hello dear fellows and friends, today post is about upvote bots and how to use them properly to maximize the return on investment on your bids.

Since I joined steemit I was trying to figure out how to use upvote bots the right way, first because I had notified that a lot of people are using them and are boosting their pots fast by getting more visibility while making more money.

So I decided to figure out how this hell works, and to be honest, it was not that easy. I asked many people in discord & Steemit Chat, I had read many posts related to the topic. Honestly, I didn't get the answer I was really looking for.

Some friends suggested to send random amounts to some bots to get votes, I didn't fell this way of doing things because not having a visibility about many parameters and criteria is like gambling and it wasn't what I were looking for.

Fortunately, there are people like @yabapmatt who managed to create a great app called steem bot tracker, where we have tons of data and information about most of the upvote bots and if you continue reading I will be sharing with you how to use it properly to upvote & bost your posts while maximizing your ROI.

Upvote bot? What is that?

An upvote bot is an account on steemit with a script that allows automation on posts upvotes. You send a bid and get an upvote from the bot for the post you selected to be upvoted. there are many kinds of bots in steemit and on the internet.
Anyone can create a bot himself if he has the knowledge for, or he can hire a developer to do it for him.

You have to note that upvote bots must have a significant Amount of steem power this way they can upvote a max of post daily, and make profits.

It's a unique business model that's fascinating me :), and I think if you want to invest on steem, creating an upvote bot is a great idea to make daily cash from your investment.

A bid!! what is that?

The bid is the amount you send to the bot to get the upvote on your post, All the bots accept SBD but not all accept steem for the bids.to allow them

The minimum amount of a bid can vary depending on which bot are you going to use.

How the hell an upvote bot work?

To answer this question we have to differentiate two type of upvote bots:

1. Passive upvote bots:

They guarantee you to at least to get back your money back from the amount sent, the RIO is very low but this can be a good way to boost your posts without losing money.

1. Active upvote bots:

They provide upvotes every farm of time, it can be 30mis or 2h40 or any others farm depending on the programming of the bot. The bot vote will be distributed between the bidders depending on their bids value.

For example, the bot vote value is 100, A bids 5, B bids 15 and D bids 30. When the bot upvote, A will get 10 upvote value, B gets 30 and D will get 60.

this type of upvote doesn't guarantee a profitable bid, it will depend on the demand and the supply, the RIO can be very profitable, but keep in mind that you can lose money as well.
