Daily Steem Price Update 16/12/2018
Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 16/12/2018 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 16/12/2018
Should you be trading with Steem today..
So yesterday we saw Steem fall down even more as suspected we also knew we should see some recovery today. I expected atleast $0.23 many also said it should hit $0.25 but in the end not much happened infact Steem only went up to $0.22 which we first saw happen at ⏰02.40 and basically for the rest of the day that's where Steem stayed. This obviously means we saw a upwave with Bitcoin it started at $3170 and at ⏰12.30 Bitcoin reached $3251 it almost started to look like a uptrend but so far its not happened. At these prices we continue into this survival mode era of Steemit.com, Bitcoin dropped drastically forcing Steem's own value to tank downward causing Steem INC a staff reduction of %70 and a possible threat to the site. Soon after this news there was a live stream for discussing what would happen going forward. The conclusion was to survive by cutting down costs especially getting nodes running cheaper and among many other strategies which will still take a while to implement. The good news 👍 is now with recent development Ned said we should be in a good place for our survival through the bear market, now we just need to actually survive and get through it. Also I know many are wondering about SMT's well if Steem INC doesn't produce them someone else will, there are others who are working on making this happen and for it's release which could be very soon. We was suppose to have another live meeting with Ned but I don't think this will happen now. SBD started by being mostly bumpy today this was a fight to stay above the $0.55 mark which unfortunately didn't work out...as I'am afraid we saw SBD down to $0.53, lets just hope this doesn't continue on and we see it go under $0.50.

Hey @jkenny so yesterday we saw Steem fall down further as suspected and so with this we knew we should see some recovery today but in the end it wasn't by much infact Steem only went up to $0.22

I got worried what your chart was going to look like when I saw those shades on you. LOL! A least I can laugh tonight while looking at those sad prices. : )
Haha its ok @whatisnew the weird funky shades wont always mean we are going down, I'am working on a bunch of pictures for next year to show part of my Steem journey so far with the price updates.

nobody's heard from ned for like a week now. i hope he dumps his share and leaves.
it'll lower the prices for the short term, but steem will be better off without him.
Haha thanks always wanted a pair of funky shades. Yea it's been a while since contact seems like he just went straight back to work, while a message very sort would of been good we have been told work continues to be made on the blockchain.
