This is @rkrijgsman's post sharing these different ways you can premptively avoid going over your bandwidth usage such as not following too many users or not editing your posts as best as possible.

There are those like @vimukthi who voice their opinion that it should be this way and that the limit acts as a "free trial" for those who haven't earned or invested Steem power.
