Attention Steemians! This Blogger has Decided that She Could Really Use a Steemit Press Pass.
Hello, fellow Steemians!
I just had, what I think is a "Steeming" hot idea...
It occurred to me that I could really use a Steemit Press Pass of some description, that I can show or flash when I'm on location at an event, an attraction or a place of interest.
I did have to explain why I had parked at the side of the road, stood percariously in a ditch and attempted to take multiple photos of this steaming pile of excrement. The neighbours thought my car had broke down and that I was stranded, then they thought I was CRAZY when I told them that I was writing a story about "attitude being a choice" and needed a good photo of highly active shit. Then, they thought I was a complete WHACK-JOB, when I tried to explain about the Steemit platform and blockchains.
It was and still is a tough sell, even when all you're doing is trying to take a good picture of shit. LOL
In another instance, I could have used it at the Canadian Canoe Museum.
This happy group of "mostly seniors" who are volunteers and one paid employee agreed to have their photo taken with me. Notice that I was "badge-less" . They were all good sports, but not one Museum executive responded when I sent them a copy of my finished blog article...not even "Oh, you really are legitimate and you did what you said you were going to."
Then there was the day I took photos of 75 wild turkeys and had to get into a cornfield with them...
Yeah, that raised a few sets of eyebrows as people questioned why I was trying to get a little closer for a shot...with my cell phone...
I was on my way to work, with all the other commuters at 8 am, so it did look like I was crazy as I tried not to provoke the flock. (I felt a bit like Elmer Fudd's character: "so be vewy, vewy quiet.")
Then there was the highly restricted Military Base...
And an inside look at one of Canada's largest Medical Marijuana facility which is locked up tighter than Fort Knox with their level 17 vaults...it's a good thing that I can network...and that I can prove that I know a thing or two about medical cannabis.

This badge needs to professionally collaborate, my Steemit story, as an internet blogger.
It also needs to be designed in such a way as to be generic, so that any Steemian can save and copy the file to customize it to fit them.
(You know, in the event that they find themselves in a situation where, some Steemit verification of existence might help them.)
So far, people working in museums, businesses, attractions, and at destinations, have humoured me when I've ask them 20 million questions and they watch me take a 100 photos.
To date, I have been fortunate that most people have been amused and somewhat interested in the Steemit story. Even though, most politely accommodate my requests but don't really understand that the information I am reporting on is shared globally in perpetuity.
So, I humbly ask the community:
What do you think about the idea of a Steemit Press Pass as a verification of authenticity?
Is there any interest in designing such a thing?

anyway, I can relate to you - but I really want to have clothes that have that Steemit ... but maybe would wear them when they start accepting Steem here too :D
I like the idea of logoed clothing too, but it would be really helpful to have a Steemit (company) approved verification card to provide legitimacy and credibility.

These are, of course, very unofficial and tongue-in-cheek, but maybe the design itself will do. The original is in vector format (svg) and will scale without quality loss, but it was designed at credit-card format and actually complies with all the official specifications, like size and photo aspect ratio.

I think it could be really useful.
It would be nice if there was a produced piece that was official sanction by Steemit to add additional credibility.
I also thought about designing a business card that could be handed out to people when I am reporting on a location or event.
