It's just not worth my time anymore...
Why continue to put in the time when its not as fun as it should be.

I'm working FULL-TIME on Steemit.
I already made about $1700... but only because I continued to be creative, and kinda like trying to create titles that "make you look" .
For this reason, I'm quitting my day job. I was able to make 3 weeks pay with (1) creative post.
I don't understand why I see a bunch of people upset and complaining about not getting paid for their 18 hour written life story...
Stop CRYING, and loosen up guys...I say guys, because I see more guys crying about this situation more than anything...Yea so what, the ladies get some votes...so be it.

Yes. I stumbled into it. was watching ETH run down..saw ETC it was in a freefall. I just sat there daze. picked up some ETC @.00120, sold it at .00260. nice profit
Now I have a "long" position at .00134.
So, we will see

Haha you almost got me! Well I'm in a similar situation, my last post finally made it to the trending section so there's the two of us now.
The problem is that everyone sees a 20k post and think that's what they are entitled to...this is just another social media site with the chance to hit the jackpot, how many others can you name that let you do that? 100 Retweets? 30 likes? F that...
haha, glad you were able to come up with some content that paid. People have to earn it. The "whales" can see your post history...can they see if you are a one hitter quitter, or if you have a personality through your post...and can add value to the platform long term!
I can't deny that the whales are truly magical beings, I've swim in the darkest of oceans with them!

If you think you've got a program for yourself on lockdown here on Steemit where you can do that consistently, then hell yeah. Congrats!
Personally, I'd never be able to do it. I've got too much riding on my steady paycheck, and - while the money made here can be straight up awesome - the steemit income at this point is no different than a commission-only job.
Don't get me wrong, commission is good! But one can rarely rely on commission-only jobs. If I can continue progressing here to the point I gain some satisfactory momentum, I may flip my script. Stay tuned...

Yeah, I have some extra income on the side that I continue to pursue. I'm running a small venture with CryptosCloset, and its starting to take more of my time...I can time manage better with not having a full-time job... I just think Steemit is worth a quality 3 hours a day creating content, and overall READING. I LOVE READING - I love reading all of these stories...it's not about the money, its about the pleasure I get from using Steemit!
lol... anyone quitting for Steemit better make sure they have a nice contingency of STEEM Power, BTC and fiat stashed away for a raining day.
This is crypto-land... be prepared to be pelted with financial hailstones on any given moment!
