So, I have been here on Steemit since mid-November last and am ensnared and here to stay.

Like you I see the huge potential that this platform has to add value to it’s community and allow people to earn a little as they wend upon their merry way.

Steemit is a serious game-changer in the world of social media and a positive entity to confound global domination of the net by a handful of big gun corporations.

Obviously, still in its early days the platform, whilst functioning well with an uber complex backend, lacks a little finesse for the seasoned blogger on the frontend. In time I feel sure that visually, design wise, things will become more fluid, interactive and beautiful and whilst acknowledging a certain lack I am content to wait and see as I happily continue as is.

Still, I have several relatively minor tweaks to suggest that would enhance my Steemit experience.

Tech Tarantula’s crawling around in The Steemitosphere, spinning and weaving your wonderful magic, here are my Steemit requests:

RESTEEMS

ISSUE: - I would love to Resteem more but feel that due to my eclectic tastes and interests my blog becomes confused and so I resist Resteeming.

SOLUTION: - A split blog feed with a menu bar – My Blog. / My Resteems.

APPRECIATION ONLY BUTTONS FOR SUBSEQUENT COMMENTS IN AN EXCHANGE

ISSUE: - When getting into a comment exchange there comes a point when a simple icon button to acknowledge the other would be useful. Having upvoted previous comments there is no quick way to show and share the love without upvoting again.

SOLUTION: - A simple line of emoji icons below 2nd tier comment exchanges.

PIN POST TO TOP FUNCTION

ISSUE: - It would be great to have the option of posting a chosen successful post, recent or archived, to the top of ones feed to showcase ones best/most successful work.

SOLUTION: ~ A Pin Post to Top Button! :)

Generally a happy Steemian I try not to be overly exigent and hope that, somewhere out there in the Steemitosphere a lone codeweaver stumbles upon my request.
