Whaleshares Curation Show: My Perspective

So I was invited to a live curation discussion last night by @lindahas. At first I had no idea what that meant but the curiosity in me just had to make sure I found out what happens at a live curation show, so I had to wait for 23:59 London Time ( which I must say seemed to take a bit too long to come around... Lol ). It finally did and as you can imagine I was on the discord channel early. I set up my device to listen, muted my mic and virtually took my sit in the-curation-lounge waiting for it to start ( that feeling when you're in the cinema to see a block buster for the first time 😁). Then came the chats and exchange of pleasantries which I partook in and then some voices ( I later found out were @lindahas, @KubbyElizabeth & @kotturinn) talking about T.V shows they've been seeing lately and how they were into it and stuff. I mean I was expecting like a formal type of event but rather it was informal and relaxing, then came @krazykrista (the guest curator) and I must say she's a 'must like' (my opinion) with a voice you can't miss in a crowded room and a slightly faster way of talking. As the guest curator she also answered questions asked by the other curators and some by the audience later on in the show. Then @nikflossus came to kick off the show. Not to make it obvious but I was already very comfortable with the way it was going.

Then came the part I was really anticipating, the curation discussion and the posts selected for discussion were:

Every post mentioned here is amazing in their own unique way and I enjoyed first hand listening to the curators opinions on them and reasons why they were picked as well.

At this point I'm going to say what I enjoyed when my post (which is the second post on the list ) came up ( lol... I'm not being selfish, I just don't want to make this longer than it necessarily has to be ). @lindahas presented it and said it's a beautiful piece, initially the story starts out as a romantic adventure in the wild, of "love birds" playing, coaxing and teasing each other and ends with a twist which brings the dreamer back to reality in front of his boss who's actually not happy that he's taking out time to sleep on the job dreaming and smiling ( 😂), she also commended the pictures used to emphasize the imagery portrayed in the story as well.

I can't do this without mentioning that @kubbyelizabeth was challenged to talk about #dating for 1 minute in a fluent and coherent manner, and my! She knocked it out of the park by miles I mean it exceeded the one minute mark and she still had more to say! (I would have gone dead after 5 seconds... 😂).

And just like with every other awesome show, this one also came to an end. For me though, it was way too eventful than I expected, the atmosphere in the lounge created by folks like @warrkin @kristyglas @steempowerpics @kotturinn @sykochica @krazykrista was engaging and awesome.

@lindahas reading parts of my story is definitely one of the highlights, her voice and accent was definitely top notch for it (I literally clapped when she was done), analysis was on point and she has unintentionally set up the tone for the next part of the story ( I mean it can't just end with the boss staring at the dreamer and everyone would like to know why he had that dream as well, right? 😉 ). I want to say a big thank you to everyone who was a part of making the show a memorable one, I'm looking forward to the next one, learnt a lot from you guys and I'm up for more.
