All You Need to Know About Your Votes on Steemit!
If you would like to know about your incoming and outgoing votes on Steemit and other vote data, then I think that this post will be useful for you.
There are many other interesting data that you can look at in the website I am going to show you, but we are going to concentrate on one thing, votes.
All You Need to Know About Your Votes on Steemit!
The website I am going to show you today is SteemReports and we are going to look at the "Account Voting" section today.
If you are ready to follow this tutorial with your username, go to http://www.steemreports.com.
Click on the "See more" button to go to the "Steem Account Votes" section of the website.
Steem Account Votes
We are going to look at the Outgoing Votes, Incoming Votes, Article Voters, Outgoing Flags and Incoming Flags sections. You can access this page directly here: http://www.steemreports.com/account-votes/
We are going to click on each of them, which will open a new tab.
Steem Outgoing Votes
Outgoing votes are the votes that you give to others in posts and comments.
First, enter your "account name" or "username," and the number of days, "30" in this example. You can use this link and replace my username by yours: http://www.steemreports.com/outgoing-votes-info/?account=gmichelbkk&days=30
This graph is interesting to see so you can adjust your voting strategy. In my opinion, it is better to self-vote a minimum, 11.2% in my case, and give the maximum to others. I only upvote my posts and rarely my comments, only if I want it to get at the top of the post. I upvote a lot of authors and all the comments that users make on my posts.
What is your strategy?
Steem Incoming Votes
Incoming votes are the votes that are given to you by others in your posts and comments. You can access this section here: http://www.steemreports.com/incoming-votes-info/?account=gmichelbkk&days=30
Here you can see who are voting the most for you and their share. I have had 845 voters in the last 30 days.
Top Voters
This is useful to see who are your top voters in the last 30 days and the posts they have upvoted if you want to thank them. You can go to this link and enter your username: http://www.steemreports.com/top-voters/
You can also use this link and replace my username by yours: http://www.steemreports.com/top-voters/@gmichelbkk
Steem Outgoing Flags
If you like to flag other users on Steemit and see whom you have spent your votes doing this activity in the last 30 days, this section is for you: http://www.steemreports.com/outgoing-flags-info/?account=gmichelbkk&days=30
As you can see, I didn't flag anyone. I prefer to live positively than negatively and this will be very rare for me to flag someone.
Steem Incoming Flags
If you want to see who has been flagging you, them go to this section: http://www.steemreports.com/incoming-flags-info/?account=gmichelbkk&days=30
You can't please everyone and I got one flagger in the last 30 days, not a big deal.
You can support the creator of this tool here @steemreports by upvoting their posts.
Would you upvote this post and follow me for more because this will encourage me to write more posts about Steemit tools like this one?
Would you please help @jerrybanfield become a top 20 witness because you can help funding projects to build Steem as explained here? Vote for jerrybanfield as a witness or set jerrybanfield as a proxy to handle all witness votes at https://steemit.com/~witnesses. Read the 5 reasons why I'm voting for Jerry Banfield as a witness and how to vote in my post.

This tool is very useful to get a lot of information. Besides votes and flags information, you will get other information as well.
Thank you @gmichelbkk for your effort to make this tutorial!
I am glad that you like it. Thank you for commenting.
As per usual you provide some valuable content I will use. Thanks. But I have a larger question: I'm a little discouraged the last few days. Maybe I've just hit a plateau or something. Trying to find good people to associate with and good solid groups to be part of, and I think I'm making progress, but Steemit, at times, seems like some big giant butt kissing contest... all of us madly running around trying to post things others will upvote. Surely there must be some cat videos here somewhere? And then I spotted a dude on Trending who has purchased his fame by using JB's votebot almost exclusively. Just went back there and he is gone. Was up to over $700. Anyway you seem to be a mellow person, just tooling along minding your own business, helping out with good posts, supporting @jerrybanfield, and you have helped me with some good solid income. So what mind set do you have? How do you see things? Should I join the frenetic scrabble to get followers and make money? I don't know. I feel the energy band of all of this and it grates on me. What say you?
Thank you @mistermercury for your comment and question. I am putting some effort into Steemit as I want to reach 10k SP, that's my goal. To do that I decided to write one quality post per day, not to do these mini posts like photo/color challenges. I see these posts as assets for me as they will be found in Google. I do not care about kissing the whales' butt if they have one, I just go regardless the number and value of upvotes I get. I use bots to help the posts be more visibles and this gives more curation rewards too. I have been discouraged many times too, but as long as my SP is increasing, then I continue. It's great when people follow me, but I'm not chasing followers. I'm not after fame!
I tell you what: if I ever make it to Thailand lets have a tall glass of juice together. Wouldn't that be grand to be able to afford to do such a thing and have the freedom to do it. Blessings. Took a long walk, feeling better.
I am looking forwards to it @mistermercury and take it easy with Steemit!
Hi sir thanks for that information, its very useful for all the users on this platform.. cheers :)
I am glad that the post is useful to you @todoenmusica.
Thank you again for yet another post helping us through our journey on steemit.I have been on here for about 2 months and still I find i fully do not understand certain aspects.Your posts are always insightful and help with my lack of knowledge. These reports are really useful.I think the more followers and upvotes you have the more the report will be useful. As I am still a minnow I know who comments and upvotes. But i can see in the future it will be more difficult if you have alot of followers to keep up.I will be saving this link.👍🏼
I am glad this is useful for you and thank you for commenting @pamcooks.
