What if somebody propagates terrorism on Steemit and gets a lot of upvotes?
Today I was very surprised to see a person who propagades terrorism on Steemit and gets a lot of upvotes.
I'm very sad to see that Steemit is used as a tool to spread lies and propaganda, and also collect funds which are probably used for making these lie-messages.

He lies about "Ukraine war", there is no such thing as Ukraine war, there is Russian aggression against Ukraine and Ukrainian struggle for freedom. Everybody who follows a bit political events knows about it.
But for those who do not follow I will tell briefly - "The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR or DNR)" which this person attempts to represent is a terrorist organisation, it's not even recognized by Russia. But this person speculates on the term of "free speech" and "freedom".
What would you do? Just ignore him? Flag his posts? But it seems his account is curated by somebody knowledgeable who knows how to get upvotes, resteems, and send funds to right people to generate funds.
I hope some more knowledgeable people on Steemit would be able to give an answer.

I acknowledge that you are professional propagandist. May be you are expert in propaganda, but this is not independent journalism. It's not a secret that Russia spends billions for the propaganda, and probably some of this amount lands in your pocket. Otherwise what's the reason of such your hatred towards Ukraine? Of course Russian and its satelites, terrorist states always welcome useful idiots, who can work for them.
I do not blindly listen to the government, I've been to Donetsk before war, I know many people who had to run away from Donetsk and Lugansk, loosing their homes, friends, relatives. Try to talk to them, as they hate terrorist for whom you work.
Most of the people in the world dislike low-level criminals, terrorists, but there are always people who want to be "unique", who want to stand out. May be you stand out as the only Westerner who supports DNR and works for them, but People who know a bit about Russian aggression against Ukraine - understand that this is pure propaganda and fabrication of lies.

Great post @tandemus. Its about peoples right to choose their own path, and its also about exposing the EU's hypocrisy and murderous lies related to such. The EU has become a fascist entity that seeks to control people through violence, propaganda and deception.
you do not understand anything about what is happening judging by your statements, first Russian special forces seized power in these regions under the cover of local alcoholics colobarants dressed up by "rebels" and only then they conducted a fictitious referendum! As well as in the Crimea, as Putin himself admitted straightforwardly! At the moment, there is no talk about disconnecting or joining Russia (as the separatists dreamed of taking up arms), under pressure from the world community and sanctions, Russia tries to cram these entities into Ukraine by retaining its control over them, the leaders of gangs of formations. All this is happening in order to resume control and influence in Ukraine and not give to move towards development as an independent European state. And just to distract people from real problems inside Russia ...
I repeat, you were not in Donetsk, you did not see how the elections were held in a referendum, you do not know what is happening now! In order to see everything with your own eyes - come to Donetsk yourself and do objective surveys. You have no right to do any kind of reporting for 2000 kilometers from here. I can't come to Donetsk, as for everyone with pro-Ukrainian position it is a big risk. That's not a big problem for me, but I'm very sad that people whom I know who are originally from Donetsk - can't return there. if there would be a referendum - why are you so sure people from Donetsk would vote for independence or for entering Russia? What about lots of people who stand for united Ukraine but they can't raise their voice in Donetsk now because they will have problems?

Before the events happened in Donetsk, Crimea was occupied by Russia. Well, you know about it. So it was not NATO and Nazis who started all that.

Explain why it is not independent journalism. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its not independent. Patrick has been in Donetsk now for 4 years and was doing proper independent journalism before the current swatch of independent journalists popping up on social media made the term popular. In that regard, he's truly a groundbreaker.

Would it be surprise for you to know that majority of ethnic Russians in Ukraine and Russian-speaking Ukrainians support Ukraine? In parts of Donetsk and Luganks which are occupied now - the small minority of criminals, pro-Russian activists with the help from Russia managed to occupy some part of land. Yes, they are supported by SOME locals, but the majority just wants peace and they can't say anything bad against DNR in power, many people were imprisoned, killed and tortured only because of their pro-Ukrainian sympaties or because of the disagreement with what's happening now in Donetsk area.
And lots of people had to run from Donetsk, Lugansk - I would advise you to speak with them, just to hear another opinion. They know a lot about yesterday's criminals, bodyguards of oligarchs, clowns (yes for example Gubarev worked as a clown before) who now made a fortune to come to power.
Don't follow only Russian propaganda line, I'm not sure my post helps in this direction, but if you are open to other information apart from propaganda - you just need to read, watch more.

and now your favorite topic that happened in Odessa ... was an independent investigation that clearly showed what happened behind the previously planned action, when a crowd of football fans were firing, 2 n was killed. Later, from the furious crowd, the Russian demonstrators hid in the building. A fire broke out and some of them died. Now this is your favorite episode on the banners of your propaganda! Guilty persons take cover in Russia, as well as so-called "legitimate". I think that there is no sense in arguing with propaganda bots, I tell for outside observers.
