How true though? I don't even need to get into detail with this. It's quite self-explanatory! If I think about all the times I have wasted time pondering about things in the past, it's a very depressing thought. Why?
It's depressing because I know now that nothing comes into reality from thought. Yeah sure, everything starts with a thought, but that's not my point here. Of course things must start with thoughts, but they must certainly not stay thoughts!
The only way to create your dreams, is by contributing physical action to the universe.
It's all about 'The Grind'. That's when the dreams become reality. Grind you say? Yes. Why do you think @grantcardone's 10X Rule is so effective?
It's to put in 10 times the amount of effort into everything you do. That's how you grow as a person.
That's the grind. Non-stop.
All in or nothing at all!
Zombie mentality.. Think about it. What does a zombie chase? Brains! Why? Because it doesn't have any.
The point is to switch off your logic. Turn down your consciousness, and focus 100%, truly dedicated effort to the thing that you want to have expand in your life.
Ever seen a zombie movie? If you have, then you will notice that the only thing a zombie does is chase people. They know exactly what they want, and they DO NOT STOP.

I was having a conversation with my mentor a few months ago about business plans. He doesn't like the idea of Steemit though, haha. He's old school but I guess that's fine. It has been working for him so no f***s given by him purely justifies it.
Anyway, so he asked me what I wanted to become in order to consider myself successful. I am a student of Communication Studies. And hence, I shared my goal of becoming a strong Public Relation Spin Doctor. To what he said that it was what I wanted to become as a professional, not a successful person. I was very interested in what he was to say next. His words were magical. He said all of us want to be 'Happy in life. That's what our ultimate goal should be; a Happy Person. It clicked. It really did. Becoming a successful Entrepreneur, a Spin Doctor, a Doctor, an Engineer etc. are the paths which would take us to be a happy person. On our way, we could grab on other opportunities which would at the end of the day take us to the same destination i.e. being happy.
TBH, I'm counting on Steemit for that matter. I love expressing my opinions. A friend of mind introduced Steemit to me a couple months ago. I wanted to do it. I knew it won't pay much in the beginning, or for a year maybe. But I wanted to express myself and getting paid for that was a blessing. So I did it. I am doing it regularly now. I'm hopeful. I'm happy!
I have always been a Zombie. That's what my mentor has always said. The reason he discussed a business opportunity with me last week and thought we could start something together. It was an achievement. Thanks to the Zombieness! :)

Happiness is quite a catch-22 in many cases. I think when we expect happiness to come, it usually just leaves us waiting.. But if we just choose what will genuinely make us feel good, and just go for that, things will change.
For me, I just want to be free. I want to be rich AF, and be able to do what I want, when I want. To have my dream girl by my side, and to be able to give her the life she deserves too! That would make me very happy. Life i simply too short to be doing the thing we don't want to do.
I believe passion needs to be monetized. I love what I do. I'm glad you are happy :)

Nice Zombie Art, Personally i believe overthinking or over analyzing kills motivation. The zombie mindset would go a long way to help people achieve their set goals, but i fear that sometimes it may cause them to lose out on valuable lessons and better experiences along the way. As you are well aware, the zombies always die in the movies, because they have no strategy.
Strategy and Zombie attitude are equally needed in right proportions to achieve greater heights.

I agree with what you're saying. For me, when I go zombie-mode, I will admit that I do lose reality sometimes. It's a constant battle between knowing that you should have balance, but also knowing that in order to have the best future, you need to be willing to sacrifice dedicated hours today, to have an amazing tomorrow.
It's a tough one. Very much a strong catch-22. So for me, I have made a decision, and I am sticking with it.
My goal is simple. To become RICH AF. Not for the money, but for my extended goal, and that is freedom. To be able to do what I want, when I want. But most of all, to be able to give my future wife the life she deserves, because the woman I marry will definitely be deserving.

Most people have that same goal, but not all of them have the resilience to keep at it after numerous huddles and fails.
To me it's the resilience that matters.

For sure taking action it is something crucial when You want to achieve anything no matter what. But not everyone is the same. And in my opinion the internet and social media it is becoming a "pretending to be" place in such a big scale that is scary. Do You agree with me? That a lot of People just do whatever they have to do or what is expected by a target audience because they know that will bring them success and fame.
And in my opinion a lot of People are going way to far when it comes to it.

You know, for content creation, I think it's important to give your audience what they want to see. So that is a different story. If you're posting about marshmallows, but people don't care about that, then you need to change.
I however relate with what you are saying. There are far too many online trying to fake their own realities. That is why I HATE Snapchat filters. To me, I see a girl that is insecure. That is just my opinion.

Yeah that is a big reality. But for new generations (like You) this stage of the Internet is all that People know. So for them all the "amazing Lifes" and fakery (is this a word? LOL) that specially Young People watch is their reallity.
All the positive blasts, motivation speeches, over coming videos and posts that are great and needed are way to much and in my opinion since I have been on the internet as a user for so long they are so overrated. But I guess this internet Era is all about that and won't change for a while.

I agree 100% that whatever you focus your energy on gets you results. But what happens when you can't figure out exactly what it is that you want to achieve? Several paths lay at my feet right now. Knowing which one to take is the problem.

This is very true. Resteemed. I find it difficult sometimes to keep the daily grind going when life gets in the way or just simply tired. I work that normal 9 to 5 job, and it can be stressful and tiring. But i am working out ways to set off my motivation and energy when I get out of work. Well said, steem on!

Just do it man. Life is so exciting and full of amazing things to be spending time on things you don't enjoy doing. I am not a billionaire yet.. Nor am I a millionaire yet.. But I am happy with life because I get to wake up every single day doing my passion. Nothing could possibly buy that, and it's realistic for anyone.
Small leaps of faith forward builds confidence. That's all it takes!
