Curation Post: Dirk's Steemit Weekly Showcase 3/10/2018

One of the things that's struck me about Steemit is how quickly posts move into obscurity. You've got about two minutes to make an impression on the big feed, and unless you have a huge following on Steemit, or elsewhere, then a good post dies in 24 hours.

I'm not sure what can be done to fix that, but it seems like curation posts may help get some more eyes on good content before it fades away.

If we want Steemit to succeed, getting good content to a wider audience (to reward the authors, and to reward visitors with good stuff) is something we should all be doing out best to help out with.
