Steem at 3.29 USD! On the way to top 10 cryptocurrency?
Hello friends,
I was just doing my regular scroll through my Twitter feed when Ned's Tweet popped up in which he believes that Steem should be top 10 cryptos based on the usage level and a community size. What do you all think? I have to only agree. The more time I spent over here, the more and more potential I see. With the platform itself, with the number of applications being developed and the SMT's coming into life in Q1 of 2018 I have no doubt that next year will be epic for Steemit and Steem.
I have been really bullish on Steem over the past few months buying at different levels. What I have to say is that I am little disappointed that I don't see many Steemians that are active day in and day out over here to chip in some money. The price of Steem has been rising recently, just like the whole market, currently sitting at 3.29 USD. For me that is still grossly undervalued considering the potential it holds. I don't see the reason why we shouldn't have a few hundred dollars Steem in the next 5 years. Well, a whole lot of things could go wrong but the upside potential is just enormous. If you add your rewards and the power of compounding effect then you are talking profits that are hard to beat anywhere else. Please do not consider this as an investment advice, just my own thoughts that I go by.

Steem is the most undervalued crypto in the entire space, period! The current valuations do not accurately reflect the growth of Steemit's userbase.
We have projects with $1bn+ market cap that don't even have a working blockchain!! The absurdity in the market right now is off the charts!
You are absolutely right! Agree with you 100%... We have no rush for the price of Steem to skyrocket... better if we grow the product first, make it perfect, grow the user-base and the price will rise with that.... Have a good one. Tomas
I'm really bullish as well on Steemit but I am really worries about the influx of spam and crap being posted. I tried to flag a couple of people who were simply reposting YouTube videos but they brought an army of down voters to my posts instead.
I think the issue is that I want to make sure the growth makes sense for the platform and safety guards are in place to ensure we build the most amazing community. In the long run I have hope that it will take care of itself through improved rewards functions. Thanks for sharing.
I hear you out. The spammers and liars have no space over here. I am sure that if we do look after our home we can minimize it. I am having issues with spammers myself but I am finding the way to minimize that. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a good comment. Tomas

Well, I do not want to give wrong advice but the potential really is massive..... crypto is giving us life-changing opportunities that we might get only once in a lifetime.
Don't worry, I wanted to buy more anyway because I do believe it will be huge so I totally agree with you.

What exactly is the best way to buy it, since last time I used the transfer option and that did not give a good deal at all.
I think the easiest way is to get your hands on some BTC and then look for the exchange that has the best rates for BTC -> Steem.

I really do hope you are correct with this estimation :) It certainly belongs there, and I just hope the masses will figure it out as well.
I think to say Top 3 wouldn't be bold.
I think Steem has a ways that it could possibly grow since it fill in an area in crypto (social) that isn't filled in by any other forms of cryptos!
Well, I am sure there will be many copycats coming soon that's why it is of most importance we do take good care of it and promote it to the masses to make the platform grow.
I'm sure many will copy. I have faith in this community though, even we have issues sometimes it always seems to pull through!
