7 World's Continents Photo Challenge - week #12 - vote for your favorite picture of the week!

Hello everyone,

I am really pleased with all the entries in week #12 of my 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge. So far I have given some $1500 in upvotes to winning participants, especially winners of the daily challenges and another 230 in SBD to weekly and monthly winners. This post is a summary of the daily winners that will be competing for 15 SBD that I will send to a steemian of the winning photo of the weekly challenge. The winner of the weekly challenge will be picked based on your upvotes and will be announced next Monday. The winner of the weekly challenge will not only receive 15 SBD from me but will also automatically enter the monthly challenge to compete for another 30 SBD against the winners of weekly challenges of that particular month. Monthly winner than enters into a yearly challenge to compete against other monthly winners for another 100 SBD. The winner of the entire competition is totaling approximately 150 SBD.

Below is the 7 winning images of this week that are competing against each other to collect 15 SBD reward and to enter other stages of the competition. It is up to you my fellow steemians who the winner will be as the highest amounts of upvotes on the below winner announcements will determine who will be that winning steemian. The world oceans feed people, they connect people, they can be peaceful and dangerous at once. Today we can even generate energy by tidal forces or wave energy power plants.
The fishermen look so peaceful during the sunset at the beach in Tarifa, Spain. It's the Atlantic coastline where the image was taken.

Having photography in blood, even on vacation it is very hard to sleep well in the morning, having in mind new location/new view which can be fixed by your camera. This shot is taken early morning on sunrise at Hurghada, Egypt with long telephoto lens to compress the perspective and the rising sun too look large and beautiful.

Taken from the top of the White Pass Chair (approx 2000m above sea level) at Fernie Alpine Resort in British Columbia on the morning of the first day of the season that all access lifts were open. The inversion and view that greeted us was spectacular.

I call this photo Old Meets New. This was taken along the edge of Castillo San Felipe de Barajas, a fortress built in the 16th Century. From this historic castle, you can see a beautiful view of the modern skyline of Cartagena, Colombia. I find it a lovely blending of history moving towards the future.
