For the month of may I would like to introduce a Challenge for everyone who wants to join and track their relative earnings and overall account growth here on Steemit !
Purpose of the challenge
- Give Smaller accounts a better perspective on Account Growth.

Prize Money
I'm not sure yet how to pick the winners and what the prize will be (maybe a % of my own earnings). It will probably be spit in different classes based on how much SP account start out with and take the account growth as reference. Here's the state of my account at the time I write this comment (May 01, 12:33 UTC):
I don't know how much my account grew during the last month. Besides the 5 STEEM donation to the @sbcbot, I've been converting SBD into STEEM and powering up.
Fifteen days ago, when you wrote the April curation post, my SP was 29. So, in the last two weeks, I grew ~50%. Relatively speaking, I'm killing it :-)
It shows according to me that the community is working! Not only by the upvotes from the bots, bot also because we are spreading our own upvotes among us!
Indeed it does, we are no longer shouting in the dark.
We are no longer steemit profiles to each other, we are getting to know each other. We are talking, sharing ideas, and working together. And we have just begun :-)

Looking purely at the percentages of growth instead of the actual dollars makes it look a lot more attractive for everyone who is starting out. The gains that can be made at the start are insane.
Indeed they're, but as the account grows I expect the rate of growth to slow down.

Always into statistics. Did great last month I guess. Managed to increase my Steem Power with around 65 steem power, which I do find impressive!
If I understood it correctly you will take the snapshot yourself, so I don't need to provide it! Correct?
Maybe you should also include the number of comments in the snapshot. Could be easily extracted from steemd.
I will take a snapshot of everyones wallet 7 days into the month at the same time yes, no need to do anything. You can do it and make a similar post yourself for next month though. Good idea to also incude some other stats as comments and reputation,... One of the ideas is to show how engaging members make their account grow much faster.
Something I would like to know (or maybe not) is the results in case I just sold every single one of my votes just to know the difference. Would probably be a bit depressing though but I might track it based on the daily steem price for next roundup.
I do expect that these results could be indeed depressing. For sure with the voting power you have!
On the other hand it will be hard to estimate if this would loss some incoming votes!

Wish this was sooner as I've withdrawed around 12 SBD just this week to pay for my internet bills. But this is nice. Looking forward to everyones progress
