Steemit 101 | E. ~25 : Basic Resources to Help You on Steemit. | For All The New People Arriving Daily
Keeping my word to continue to share / re-share Steemit 101 type things because I had help when I was new, and we have new users daily who are lost like we were when we were new!
Hoping my regular Steemit 101 / Crypto 101 type posts continue to help all the new people coming daily.
It may not help YOU if you have been here weeks or months, but I always remember some people have been here hours, or days, and they need the resources like we did, when we were new.
Everyone will be new at some point, we should help one another how we can. That is what community is about.

-- at SteemDs.com -- it is a Live Tracker connected directly to the blockchain for Steemit where you can check tons of stats, yours and the general platform stats. This link / resource tonite is pretty comprehensive. There are a LOT of line items you can use here and check.
Your stats for YOUR page are easily searchable there too. It is really really good and a resource that stays current and directly linked to the Steem blockchain.
The UPDATED version you will see below, from ~July 19th or so, 2017 when they updated the site, has those changes we just discussed.
Other sites and resources are available and like them --- you can see all the users, see the top / trending Steemit categories and whales, payouts for posts, all kinds of useful stuff.

I have been doing it since I learned my way last year!!
Good morning barrydutton. Again you are mound of information and thank you very much, just when I needed it! I just transferred some savings in hopes it will end up as Steem or Steem power again. It's all a lovely experiment and it really is good fun. I managed to get some Steem onto Bittrex and will now attempt to get that into Bitcoin and so on. Until I accomplish all that I won't really be able to tell people it works. Meaning they are sceptical until they see I get real dollars. I want to show them we can. It's probably the only time I've moved money around in large sums. here's to the next stage! Happy Steeming!
You are right -- lots of us care about the PRACTICAL use and conversion aspects not only for us --- but for outreach to others, just like you are saying.
