STEEMIT 101 | ~#38: Basic Resources to Help You on Steemit. | For All the New People Arriving Daily.
Keeping my word to continue to share / re-share Steemit 101 type things because I had help when I was new, and we have new users daily who are lost like we were when we were new!
Hoping my regular Steemit 101 / Crypto 101 type posts continue to help all the new people coming daily.
It may not help YOU if you have been here weeks or months, but I always remember some people have been here hours, or days, and they need the resources like we did, when we were new.
Everyone will be new at some point, we should help one another how we can. That is what community is about.

-- at SteemD.com -- it is a Live Tracker connected directly to the blockchain for Steemit where you can check tons of stats, yours and the general platform stats. This link / resource tonite is pretty comprehensive. There are a LOT of line items you can use here and check.
Your stats for YOUR page are easily searchable there too. It is really really good and a resource that stays current and directly linked to the Steem blockchain.
The UPDATED version you will see below, from ~July 19th or so, 2017 when they updated the site, has those changes we just discussed.
Other sites and resources are available and like them --- you can see all the users, see the top / trending Steemit categories and whales, payouts for posts, all kinds of useful stuff.

This has really upset some people but I do not force my opinions on others, or need to communicate every detail of my life or issues, most people do not care anyways. I invested around 10 hours or more a day on Steemit most of my first 13 mths here, I just do not have that time in my life right now, and that includes for replies and voting/curation.

Sorry @barrydutton I was not sure whether i could comment and put a youtube link here and only my steemian trooper youtube link came up. I wanted to just thank you that I discovered this after 24 days of sheer persistence solo and what a massive help this will be. I started to feel the pressure as I have a group of steemian troopers that I have brought together and our mission is to scout talent from instagram and twitter right now so ive been educating in a discord channel getting them ready. The youtube video is one of the online recruitment tools that is ranking on first page under "join steemit" but this post takes so much weight of me along with 2 other Master Jedi's I have met over these last two days so thank you I am your humble apprentice in training. i know that storm trooper hat might just be on sale in your shop but I could not resist sharing the youtube video in this feed lol

No way @barrydutton this is awesome and honestly my first 24 days the learning curve has been mental and now im finding the odd steemian trooper who has got a lot more great tips for us newbies. Now I say troopers because I just seen you are also a bit of a star wars fan so i hope this makes you laugh in a minute because I am an alto saxophonist and marketer and you will see I have a star wars themed capture page and a youtube video ranked on page one of youtube as I am putting together a discord channel that has a few steemian troopers i call us who will be scouting talent all over twitter and instagram which has been going quite well but i have to admit the pressure has been on because verifications are starting to come through and i have hit a few brick walls already nearly sobbed like a baby and been tempted to throw my lap top at the wall but i have never been a quitter and I guess that's why it hurt so bad but in quest across the steemiverse i am starting to meet some jedi's like your self and I have become the apprentice in training so I will be pinning this up in the welcome page of my discord channel where i have started to do bite size training videos so the crew coming in don't quit and have an easier ride than I have had.
