As many of you know, the โ€œIntroduceYourselfโ€ Tag is very popular here, as it should be.

Itโ€™s a great way to get your feet wet here in Steemit, and itโ€™s where you get your initial followers from (assuming you make an intro post immediately). I feel like I only know 10% or less of my followers! I want to meet more of you! ๐Ÿ

I think itโ€™s really important we, as good Steemians and good curators, help other people get the attention they deserve!

So comment a little bit about yourself below, or nominate an interesting person you know who has an underrated account here on Steemit. Together we will all grow in this awesome community! ๐Ÿ˜„

Also, there are multiple Steemit Meetups coming up in Colorado, you can read about all 3 of them here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@lpfaust/rocky-mountain-region-steem-steemit-accelerator-meetup-october-4-2017-7-15-pm-8-45-pm-highlands-ranch-library

Looking forward to meeting you,

So happy to have met you, man. I love that you're doing a post like this too.

I'm a near-death survivor who practices healing arts and offers intuitive insights. I produce various forms of media and am a creative soul, artist, and musician at heart.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Alex!!

I just met a near death survivor today. Him and his dog were on the streets - he was cleaning up glass out of the KFC driveway when I was going through the drive-thru - I ordered some extra food and pulled around the building to find him. He was crawling around the garbage can - I asked if he was hungry and he was. SO I gave a bucket of popcorn chicken. He told he had just spent the last of his money on is dog's food. We got to talking a little and he said he had a near death experience where he died on the operating table for close to 45 minutes and when he woke up in the recovery room they were shocked that he wasn't brain dead.. he showed me a massive dent in his skull where the operation happened. I felt real bad for the guy - but I gave him some food and before I thought of giving him a few dollars - another car came up and I had to drive off - I prayed for him and his dogs...

Hope they're okay too, man.

Likewise Jakob (:
Looking forward to the meetup!

Iโ€™ll check it out!

Happy b-earth-day!!

Hey whats going on everyone. I make a lot of photo posts but try to write a story to accompany them. Writing about my experience joining Steemit recently but my content will transform into general media over time.

Hey Michael! Nice to meet you!
I look forward to your future content (:

Cool post concept, @amvanaken! I have yet to use the #introduceyourself hashtag, but I'll provide a little advance copy here...

I am about a month into Steemit. I've been busy finding friends, learning what folks are interested in, and try to curate great content.

I am writing about what interests me now, and have found a good place here amongst friends. I typically write about sports & gambling, casinos, weigh-loss (lost 60 pounds last year), and general interest. I figure if I produce content I'm interested in, like-minded folks will follow.

Thanks for the opportunity to put myself out there. There are several folks on this thread that I just followed as they look interesting! Cheers!

Wow you seem to have a very wide range of interests! I'll have to read up more on your weightloss story. What are your thoughts on the Sports/Gambling cryptos?

Haven't done much with the sports/gambling cryptos. Figuring out Steemit has been enough of a challenge, so far. lol

Looking forward to wading a little deeper into there crypto scene, though. Thanks for the comment! Cheers!

@splendorhub logo.pngGreat idea of a post!I love to learn from others. I think this platform is wonderful in regards to getting to know people from all over the world. A bit about me.. my name is Nora, and I'm here to share and explore what this life has to offer :) History is one of my favorite subjects so will be trying to mix that in somehow. Best wishes to allโฃ๏ธ

Nice to meet you! I have followed both of you. I'm curious what you do as a Subsea Technician? Intriguing for sure.

I'm repairing, modifying and work on subsea equipment offshore, (I'm not i diver, haha we take the equipment up on the rig before we start work on it)

What are your top crypto picks?

thank you kindly... ! where do we start with crypto picks ! such a fast moving environment, are we talking short or long performance, trade or speculation ?

a few favourites include omiseGO, LISK, bitshares, ripple, siacoin, SONM, Neo.

watch out for RISE, Ada, ETB, PLBT, CSNO and SPACE (soon to be announced)

Wow ok Iโ€™m familiar with most of those but Iโ€™ll have to look up the others! Right now Iโ€™m really big on Steem, BTS, BTC, and some others. I have a few of the ones you mentioned (: I always like to hear peoples top picks!

always good to share tips.. it's moving so fast, I think you need to emotionally detach yourself from coins which you might HODL when you could be reaping new opportunities !

You are so right! It is so hard to avoid emotional attachment in the crypto and investment world! However, I agree that it is very important! A classic example is EOS. Tons of people bought it too early because they love Steemit, Bitshares and @dan , however, now is a much better time to buy when compared to when it first came out...

yeah emotional attachment is difficult and we are by nature superstitious creatures. ! eos is a good example. I'm not even sure if the whole EOS roll out isn't just a bit weird and that you might be better off getting some on the last drop ! :_ keep thinking with your head and you'll be ok

Howdy everyone. I'm an amateur podcaster who posts a daily episode here on Steemit. I discuss politics, mostly war and foreign policy from a libertarian perspective. I live in New Jersey, play hockey and enjoy trail running. I'm a big Yankee baseball fan and include a weekly post about my dog, Brody here on Steemit.

Nice to meet you (: I look forward to catching your episodes they sound interesting! I'm also wondering if I should post a weekly dog post, I feel like they have a stress-relief factor to them.

It helps break up the political posts for me.

My name's David. I have been living in Japan for the past 12+ years where I work as a photographer. In addition to photography, I love history (esp Japanese history), cycling around Japan, doing origami, and playing with my kids.

You can read more about me at my intro.

If you want to see beautiful photos of Japan daily or read my translations of famous Japanese haiku, be sure to follow me or at least check out my Steemit page to get an idea of the kinds of things I post.

I am also passionate about helping people understand Japan better, so be sure to send me any questions about Japan you have. Hmmm... in fact, now that I write that, that could be a good post idea (asking for Japan questions). I'll have to think about how to do that.

As to nominating other people, you know I am new here myself so I don't really know many people yet. I recently followed @favcau and I've been enjoying his posts. Yesterday I followed @jehanzeb4u because his intro post was really good. I'd encourage checking these two fellas out.

Wow David I am very intrigued by Japan also! So I will definitely be checking out your page, and also the 2 that you recommended ๐Ÿ˜„ Thanks for introducing yourself!

Always a good one to share some personals..

Continuing on the near- death surviving stories from below from @intuitivejakob and @jorlauski I am a recent hurricane survivor so I tend to write about stuff going on around that at the moment. Also because my normale life is a little different compared to normal, I just write about stuff now that grabs my attention.
This simple soul moved from city life Holland to the island of Sint Martin to just live an easy life. So yeah! There we go!

Wow Saint Martin got hit pretty bad?

Smashed id say!!!
Scroll through my feed, you will find stuff about it how we are trying to recover

That is so unfortunate! I wish you the best recovery! I have Upvoted your most recent posts!

Super thx! Any kind of support is welcome!
Except some upvotes back tomorrow when I got full voting power again :)

You're so welcome!
