Hacking the Social-Shares Bounty: How I made thousands of HUNT token per day in Steem Hunt?

If you saw the yesterday’s announcement, you sure know, there’s a new Social Media Manager in the SH-town. And yep, that’s @MTimeTraveller. That’s me.

As the Social Media Manager of Steem Hunt, this is my very post, here to share the secret sauce of making the most out of SOCIAL-SHARES BOUNTY and spreading the word of SH out there to the far-far-away galaxy and beyond!

Well, well, well, don’t get too excited for we are not discussing hacking SH for real and looting the HUNT tokens. I am here to reveal the truth behind how I have been making tons of HUNT tokens from the social-shares bounty.

And before we dive in, a shoutout for @chuuuckie for his awesome post: Your type of Social-shares?

Welcome to my Secret Sauce

Here’s how to earn at least 1000 HUNT tokens per day:

1. Never ever care whether it’s your hunt or any other hunters’:
Yeah, exactly, never ever care about who hunted the products. It doesn’t have to be always you who have hunted the product to make your mind to share the hunts. The only thing you need to care is, whether the hunt you are about to share is cool and interesting enough to attract some engagements. Yes, that’s what you should care.

Remove the crap out of the mind that if your [hunt] share somehow attracts the interactions, the hunters will get the benefit. Just “Shift+ Del” from that mind because in reality if your share goes driving more engagements, it’d be you that would be benefitted more, more than the original hunters. It’s win-win for both of you; the sharer and the hunters.

So, support the community and you will earn HUNT tokens automatically. No brainer.

2. Reach out to the official makers SNS accounts:
This is one of the most crucial factors, in fact, SH encourages to reach out to the makers. Now the question may arise, how to find the active makers? Well, right after you complete the above step; selecting the cool hunts to share, it’s time to hunt down the makers.

Just visit the “Check Out” link from the hunt.

Scroll to the bottom or search for the social media accounts from “About Us”, “Contact Us” tab on the hunt website.
Now if possible, shorten the share URL with nice ad-free shortener. [If you’re an old goo.gl user, use it. It’s the best one with the best reputation.] Because most of the makers hesitate to share your share-link just because there is “ref=sharer-id” hanging at the end of the shared-hunt URL.
DM/Tweet the official makers’ account with your share link. Be constructive and ask them to share the hunt. Don’t just share the dull message with your share link.

Here’s an example of a tweet where I tagged the @Telcoin, congratulated them for being successfully featured on Steemhunt and shared my own hunt link.

Also, don’t forget to follow and tag @steemhunt with #SteemHunt on Twitter whenever you share the hunt on Twitter. We’ll retweet some of the best shared-hunt tweets.

And if you are making mind to share the crypto-related hunt [it’s always more beneficial to share the link to the crypto-related hunt than any other niche hunt], never forget to share the links on the maker’s official telegram group. Ask them to include the link to hunt in their pinned message because the new pinned message notifications are pushed to all the members despite the channel notifications are turned off by some members. And this really drives the unique clicks and engagements in the hunt via your shared link!

3. Share to relevant groups on Facebook:
Just scroll through the 100’s of the hunts and look out for the hunts you seem to attract nice engagement on Facebook groups. Like if I were to share this cool hunt ZipStitch, I would look out for some medical-related groups like Medical Group and post some constructive caption with the shared-hunt URL. [Don’t forget to remove the link to hunt in the post caption once the “link preview” is displayed. That will make the post look clean.]

So, share the hunts in the different similar niche groups, just make sure you spin the words, to avoid getting caught by Facebook spam checker! Be creative and share the hunts in the respective niche groups.

And if you find the makers' official Facebook group, play cool and do a constructive post congratulating them like in the above tweet screenshot.

4. Join SteemHunt Pinterest Board:
Yup, there is a SteemHunt Pinterest board, and it’s quite large. In fact, with 6.2K followers already. So, follow the board and anyone who’s active on Pinterest comment down below if you want to be the board collaborator so that you can pin your shared hunts there in the board and earn some clicks and HUNT tokens. [Comment down with your Pinterest username]

Note: If you see other fellow hunter has already shared the same hunt that you are about to share in the makers' official social media accounts, support the fellow hunter by interacting [liking and commenting] with the shared-hunt post. Just don't jeopardize or share the same hunt in the same maker's account or in the same group with your share-link hunt because that will make SH look bad and spammy.
