Steemfest3 // A Night of Steem [English/Deutsch]
Dear friends,
it's time to proceed with my report on the third day of Steemfest. After the day's program at the ICE Conference Center I went back to the hotel.

es wird Zeit, mit meinem Bericht über den dritten Steemfest-Tag fortzufahren. Nach dem Tagesprogramm im ICE Conference Center ging es zunächst zurück ins Hotel.
The Vistula looked even more beautiful at night, the illuminated bridges, which were reflected in the water, were especially appealing to me.
Die Weichsel sah bei Nacht noch schöner aus, mir haben es vor allem die beleuchteten Brücken angetan, die sich im Wasser spiegelten.
Then I passed an architecturally very interesting building. Later I found out that it was the Centre for the Documentation of Art by Tadeusz Kantor, or CRICOTEKA for short.
Dann kam ich an einem architektonisch sehr interessanten Gebäude vorbei. Wie ich später herausfand, handelte es sich dabei um das Zentrum zur Dokumentation der Kunst von Tadeusz Kantor oder kurz CRICOTEKA.

Back at the INX hotel, I couldn't resist doing a Selfie in the mirrored elevator.
Zurück im INX Hotel, konnte ich es mir nicht verkneifen, ein Selfie in dem verspiegelten Fahrstuhl zu machen.
After a short recovery break (including a fresh T-shirt), we went to "Night of Steem", which took place in the trendy Klub 89, which was located in the basement of the Forum Hotel.
Nach einer kurzen Erholungspause (inklusive einem frischen T-Shirt), ging es los zu "Nacht des Steem", die in dem angesagten Klub 89 stattfand, der sich im Basement des Forum Hotels befand.
The Club is part of a venue called Forum Przestrzenie, which is quite a hip place in Kraków.
Der Club ist Teil eines Veranstaltungszentrums namens Forum Przestrzenie, der ein ziemlich angesagter Ort in Krakau ist.
Opening in the formerly abandoned, monstrous and much-maligned Soviet-era Forum Hotel, Forum Przestrzenie immediately vaults itself to the top of the list of Kraków's most original, intriguing and hip locales, without even really trying (not caring is the key to being 'cool' after all). [...] DJ parties and other events are a constant, both on the spacious ground floor and occasionally in the basement, making Forum one of the most unpredictable and exciting venues in town.
Das Forum Przestrzenie, das im ehemals verlassenen, monströsen und vielbeschimpften Forum Hotel aus der Sowjetzeit eröffnet wurde, steht sofort an der Spitze der Liste der originellsten, faszinierendsten und angesagtesten Schauplätze Krakaus, ohne es überhaupt wirklich zu versuchen (sich nicht darum zu scheren, ist schließlich der Schlüssel, um "cool" zu sein). DJ-Partys und andere Veranstaltungen sind eine Konstante, sowohl im geräumigen Erdgeschoss als auch gelegentlich im Untergeschoss, was das Forum zu einem der unberechenbarsten und aufregendsten Orte der Stadt macht.
To everyone's delight, there were also free drinks again. This time I decided for Gin-Tonic and stuck with it the whole evening.
Zu allgemeinen Freude, gab es auch wieder Freigetränke. Dieses Mal entschied ich mich für Gin-Tonic und blieb auch den ganzen Abend dabei.
The club, formerly called "Crazy Dragon", didn't seem to have changed much since the late 70's when the Forum Hotel opened. But if you didn't breathe in deeply, it definitely had its charm ;-)
Der Club, der früher Club "Crazy Dragon" hieß, schien sich seit den späten 70 Jahren nicht groß verändert zu haben, als das Forum Hotel eröffnet hat. Wenn man nicht allzutief einatmete, hatte das aber durchaus seinen Charme ;-)
Then @roelandp opened the "Night of Steem" party, which should become a colorful mix of performances by fellow Steemians.
Dann eröffnete @roelandp die Party "Night of Steem", die eine bunte Mischung aus Auftritten von Steem-Künstlern werden sollte.
First off was @katrina-ariel with some emotional ballads. The Canadian musician regularly takes part in Steemit
#openmic and said that she had written more new songs in half a year than in five years before she came to Steemit due to the great encouragement of the community. Here is her last #openmic before Steemfest to give you an idea of her music.
Zuerst trat @katrina-ariel mit einigen gefühlvollen Balladen auf. Die kanadische Musikerin nimmt regelmäßig am Steemit #openmic teil und meinte, sie hätte durch den großen Zuspruch der Community in einem halben Jahr mehr neue Songs geschrieben, als in den fünf Jahren bevor sie zu Steemit kam. Hier könnt ihr euch ihren letzten #openmic Beitrag vor dem Steemfest anhören, um eine Vorstellung von ihrer Musik zu bekommen.
Afterwards, the singer-songwriter and illustrator Priscilla Hernandez (@yidneth) enchanted the club together with her partner. The spherical sounds occasionally reminded of the music of Enya, if anyone still remembers. Here you can get an impression of her music.
Danach verzauberte die Singer-Songwriterin und Illustratorin Priscilla Hernandez (@yidneth) zusammen mit ihrem Partner den Club. Die sphärischen Klänge erinnerten gelegentlich an die Musik von Enya, falls das jemandem noch etwas sagt. Hier könnt ihr euch einen Eindruck von ihrer Musik verschaffen.
Next the legendary @steembirds rocked the house. They had already caused great enthusiasm at the last Steemfest in Lisbon with their songs, which all have something to do with Steemit and Crypto, and this time again they didn't disappoint us.
Als nächstes rockten die legendären @steembirds das Haus. Sie hatten schon beim letzten Steemfest in Lissabon mit ihren Songs, die alle etwas mit Steemit und Crypto zu tun haben, für große Begeisterung gesorgt und auch diesmal enttäuschten sie uns nicht.
Later I even found their set list sheet, on which all their songs were written down.

Später habe ich sogar ihren Spickzettel gefunden, auf dem sie alle Liedtitel aufgeschrieben hatten.
Unfortunately I missed the performance of the musician, producer, Musicoin ambassador and Artzone curator @edprivat, but in this dTube video you can find some short excerpts of all performances (from minute 4:15) .
Den Auftritt des Musikers, Produzenten, Musicoin-Botschafters und Artzone Kurators @edprivat habe ich leider verpasst, in diesem dTube Video sind aber (ab Minute 4:15) aber ein paar kurze Ausschnitte aller Auftritte zu finden.
Later @greencross (record label manager, music producer and DJ) played some cool tunes. Although it was not easy due to the program (and permanent party) of the last days and for many rather unknown house music, @schererf and I finally made the decision to dance a little bit. The commitment of @arcange deserves a special mention here as well. He infected many people with his enthusiasm and made them dance.
Später hat der Plattenfirmenmanager, Musikproduzent und DJ @greencross noch ein paar coole Scheiben aufgelegt. Obwohl es aufgrund der Anstrengungen (und Dauerparty) der letzten Tage und eher house-lastiger Musik nicht leicht war, fassten @schererf und ich schließlich den Entschluss, noch ein wenig das Tanzbein zu schwingen. Besondere Erwähnung verdient auch hier der Einsatz von @arcange, der viele mit seinem Enthusiasmus angesteckt und zum Tanzen gebracht hat.
I think it was around 2.30 am when we finally disappeared in the foggy night to rest a bit in the hotel for the next day.

You're very welcome! I really enjoyed listening to your music and I've made some similar experiences regarding the Steemit community, that pushed my creative energy a lot. Being an artist, I always love to see other artists around sharing the love. Steemfest has been a great pleasure, hope to see you next year :-)

Thanks for the correction, I just updated my post accordigly. I used to dance to house in my young adulthood and my son is also a house music DJ and creator. So I'm still used to it ;-)

He just released his first vinyl EP called 'Fluent State', which you can listen to e.g. on bandcamp. I'd say, it's deephouse or ambient, but I hope you'll like it anyways.
I constantly try to bring him to steemit and upload his music to @dsound as well, but until this happens, you might want to check out his facebook page.
