Hi! Today there are so many delicious photos :) I want to share with you a very simple , delicious and nutritious Breakfast. In my family, we often prepare this option. Here is a poached egg on toast with bacon and baked tomatoes. A good start to a new day!

Oh, that looks so good! Now I'm very hungry!

Wow looks so delicious!

The typical Christmas dish in Venezuela is the hallaca. It is prepared with corn flour and stuffed with a pork stew, meat and chicken. This stew is seasoned with onion, pepper, sweet pepper, leeks, capers, salt, English sauce and potato. The dough is spread on a banana leaf and olives and grapes are placed in the middle of the hallaca.

Someday I'll get to try one! They look so good!

They are delicious. I hope you can try it! I love preparing them

from how to make, taste and smell

That looks great, I have to try it out.

They are really delicious Erikah. My mom has been doing them for many years and they are part of our tradition. Although this year they will be absent in many Venezuelan homes due to the high costs of the ingredients

I have to find a recipe and try it out.

The "Baked Eggs" recipe is my favorite recipe because it's very easy to cook, and saves my time. Usually I make this dish for breakfast.

Ease of using @esteemapp as a Steem based blockchain app like an Easy and Yummy recipe. Really "esteem" time.

Recipe for "Baked Egg"

  • You only need eggs, a little spice such as pepper powder, salt, chili powder, or parsley. Then how to make it, break the egg into a heat-resistant container. Then, sprinkle the spices according to your taste. In this recipe, I sprinkle salt, chili powder, and pieces of parsley.

  • Then, bake the eggs in a heat-resistant container for 5 minutes. You can adjust the baking time according to the level of maturity of the eggs.

  • Serve eggs with complementary sauce. Here I use chili sauce and sweet soy sauce. Look at the sweet soy sauce I set on the serving plate forming the word "eSteem". You can form sauces into funny emoticon or one-word to encourage you to start the day.

Creative way to make the eggs stand out!

Thanks for your appreciation

I always let esteemapp do the hard word for me. The same goes for the cooking. Here is some tripe the chef handed me today. I was not best pleased. I gave Jives a piece of my mind so I did ! I wanted savoury! Not sweet! Daughters head in background waiting to hit Jives.

This looks wonderful @blanchy!

You go have savory... Leave the sweets for me!

Looks colourful and tasty.

Sate is a typical Indonesian food, diced meat, then baked, then doused with peanut sauce, this sauce is made with native spices Indonesia.Sate beef peanut sauce does have a delicious taste. Looks like a delicious holiday meal!

Yes, it is the traditional dish in our Christmas and New Year's dinner, without doubt it is a very delicious dish. Thank you.

And you baked that cookie? 😂

yesss haha

Hahaha! Perfect!

It time for rustic Christmas cooking. I have my mother’s old tattered cookbook and found this recipe for Gumdrop Cake. Tried it today and it turned out nicely... I may have over cooked it a little but it tasted good.
The Recipe makes two loaf pans.
Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C)
Cream together:
1 C. Butter with 1 1/2 C. White Sugar.
2 tsp. Vanilla
4 Eggs...beat in one at a time
2 C. Milk
4 C. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Soda
1 C. Gumdrops (cut in bits)
2 C. White Raisins ( used dark raisins because it was what I had on hand.)
2 C. Sweet Coconut flakes
Divide batter evenly between the two pans and pop into preheated oven.
Cooking time can vary depending on the pan you use.
I cooked the cakes for 1 hour at 350 F then tested with toothpick and it needed a bit more. I dropped oven temperature to 300 F (150 C) and let the cake bake another 15 min. ..In hindsight I should have taken them out at the hr!
Let gumdrop cake ripen in frig for a couple days...I already cut into one and ate a few pieces...sorry Santa..I’ve been naughty! 🎅

Hello @esteemapp its my own Recipes i make it.. This recipes is Beef Birani And Beef. This Recipes is So delicious. I think you like this Recipes.

First we celebrate Sinterklaas in Holland and we Do All kinds off Nice things to eat. Preferably Candy an chocolate. And dine at the table for hours . After that its christmas food for now I would say My shrimps pil pil

I love shrimp! That looks really good!

The house smelled of garlic but it was soooo good👍

Nothing wrong with a hint of garlic in the air! Although cinnamon might make it feel more Christmasy!

If you want to go exotic during the holidays you can try a Kapampangan dish called Betute or stuffed frog. The frogs are caught from the ricefields and are safe to eat. Stuffing is usually pork meat and aromatics

I have had frog legs once... It was good, but I suspect that this would be better!

Do you know the farytale of Hänsel and Gretel... This is our Version of the Lebkuchen-Hexenhaus (Gingerbread-Witchhouse). It was bloody hard work. We had to bake it on three days.

A beautiful gingerbread house! I love making them with the grandkids!

This is so cool!

There are already some amazing looking dishes on the list. Just visiting this post has increased my appetite substantially!

What a great way to get the community engaged. I think is't amazing to see all the different cultures sharing their precious Christmas dishes.

Great idea!

This is my dish, called "Spicy Sour Fish" or in Gayo Language I call it "Asam Jeng". The fish that I cook is Giant Traveli, one of the high quality fish.

I have never tasted that type of fish. It sounds very good!

Thank mam @melinda010100. I suggest you to try it. Btw this original my creation when I am in duty on outside island in indonesia, i am enjoy it because my mom (passed away) teach me to independent even I am a man.

We all should know how to take care of ourselves. Your mother was a very wise woman.
