🗞 Veteran Crypto and Stocks Trader Shares 6 Ways to Invest and Get Rich

Two of the most frequent questions that I get from people in the crypto community are: what do you invest in and what are the best investing strategies? As a general rule, the best investment strategy focuses on maximizing gains while minimizing risk.

Historically, the best assets that fit this profile have been stocks, bonds, and real estate. A well balanced portfolio should have an allocation of all three, which is where I am most heavily invested.

Every investment strategy should always have a long-term horizon and investors that begin putting money away in their 20s have an exponential advantage over those who begin to save later. Furthermore, investing money that is not needed to cover expenses and leaving it in the market for as long as possible is the primary method for accruing wealth faster than any other single strategy. Ultimately, this is the secret to getting rich!

🗞 For Non-Profits Working With Facebook, Libra Isn’t Such a Crazy Idea

The Takeaway:

Lost in Libra’s regulatory limbo has been a discussion of the cryptocurrency’s stated intention: to bring the global poor into the modern financial system.

Many non-profits have been working on just this issue for a very long time. To its credit, Facebook recruited a few of most forward-thinking organizations into the association.

Those non-profits who had already seen potential advantages in blockchain technology to better serve their target populations.

Were these do-gooding organizations brought on as mere window-dressing? Women’s World Banking and Mercy Corps tell CoinDesk they won’t stick around if their missions aren’t served by Libra.

🗞UNICEF Launches Cryptocurrency Fund to Back Open Source Technology

UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, has launched a crypto fund to receive, hold and distribute donations of bitcoin and ether in its aim to back open source technology for children around the world.
UNICEF said in an announcement on Wednesday that in a first for United Nations organizations, the Cryptocurrency Fund will receive contributions in cryptocurrency and grant out in the same digital currency form.

The organization added the first contributions to the UNICEF Cryptocurrency Fund come from the Ethereum Foundation and “will benefit three grantees of the UNICEF Innovation Fund.”

It said the three grantees that will receive the initial donations are Prescrypto, Atix Labs and Utopixar, focusing on the areas of “prescription tracking, matching investors and those needing funding, and community tokens and engagement.”

🗞 Bitcoin Core Dev: Anti-51% Attack Measures Always Imply Centralization

Bitcoin Core developer Greg Maxwell has criticized the “attractive mystery” that fear of a 51% attack on Bitcoin (BTC) entails, arguing that it betrays a fundamental lack of understanding about the cryptocurrency.

In a Reddit post published on Oct. 5, Maxwell argued that any mechanism cooked up to mitigate the threat of a 51% attack always implies centralization and represents a far greater threat to Bitcoin’s integrity.

🗞 Nearly $10 Billion in BTC Is Held in Wallets of 8 Crypto Exchanges

Almost 7% of the entire circulating supply of Bitcoin (BTC) is held in the wallets of eight major cryptocurrency exchanges, according to Twitter account The Token Analyst.
“Exchanges are the biggest HODLers”

On Oct. 8, the Token Analyst wrote that, throughout Bitcoin’s history, the amount of the world’s most popular crypto coins on exchange wallets has consistently been increasing.

The Twitter account, which provides real-time and historical blockchain data, estimated close to 1.2 million coins is currently held in the wallets of eight major exchanges — with the Token Analyst describing them as “the biggest HODLers.”

An accompanying graph shows that Huobi Group is leading the pack of crypto exchanges, with the most amount of BTC in its wallets. Binance and BitMEX are battling it out for second place.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion

Here is the chart of yersterday :

Here is the current chart :

This is what I call a nice prediction. Since days now (you can go back my past analysis), I'm explaining you that we are going in direction of the resistance line at 0.155$. Look the chart today, we almost touched that resistance line. It will be important to see what will happen when we will touch that line. A rejection is possible but if we can break it, it is really a good sighn that the low is done on the STEEM for at least the coming weeks. Enjoy dear STEEM holders.
