🗞 SEC Chair, Commissioners to Talk Crypto at Congress Hearing Next Week
The U.S. House Financial Services Committee plans to question the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) about cryptocurrencies and Facebook’s Libra project next week, among a host of other topics.
According to a calendar notice on the House of Representatives’ website, the committee will hold a one-panel hearing with SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, as well as Commissioners Robert Jackson, Elad Roisman, Allison Lee and “Crypto Mom” Hester Pierce on Sept. 24 in the Rayburn House Office Building.
The hearing will cover the SEC‘s actions around the cryptocurrency space, as well as private markets vs. public markets; public company disclosures; enforcement; and fiduciary responsibilities.
🗞 Binance to Launch Fiat-to-Crypto OTC for Chinese Yuan in October
Cryptocurrency giant Binance plans to roll out its over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform for Chinese yuan in October.
Chinese market targets
Yi He, Binance co-founder and chief marketing officer (CMO) announced the news at a media session on Sept. 17, as Binance confirmed to Cointelegraph on Sept. 19.
According to the CMO, Binance’s new OTC onramp is scheduled to launch next month and only targets the Chinese market, as the current plan envisions supporting the Chinese renminbi only, a
Binance spokesperson said.
To date, Binance has already set up an OTC trading desk that provides users with large transactions service, as noted by the representative. In April 2019, Binance saw an immense surge in OTC trading, reportedly recording nearly $80 million in profits.
🗞 Bitcoin Price Dips to $9.6K as Bear Cross Looms

BTC quickly fell to $9,600 this morning, bolstering the bearish setup on the 4-hour and daily charts. A deeper drop to key support at $9,454 may now be in the offing.
A UTC close below $9,450 would confirm a downside break of a three-month-long contracting triangle and expose the 200-day moving average (MA) support lined up near $8,100.
A move above $10,458 is needed to negate the immediate bearish case. A UTC close above $10,958 would confirm a bullish triangle breakout.
The 50- and 100-day moving averages are about to produce a bearish crossover, a lagging indicator known to trap sellers on the wrong side of the market.
🗞 Iran Considers New System of Annual Registration for Crypto Miners
Iran’s cabinet is looking into a proposal to register cryptocurrency miners on a year-to-year basis.
According to documents reported by Coindesk on Sept. 19, a draft proposal to register crypto mining operations is currently on its way to official approval in Tehran. The proposed licenses would require information on employment, rent agreements and other business activities.
The requirements seem designed to allow the Iranian government to curtail unsavory activities related to crypto while continuing to profit from an industry thriving in a country facing international sanctions and inflation — economic factors that have resulted in a rise in national misery.

When hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors and technologists descended on Tel Aviv Blockchain Week (TLVBW), few could have expected a better backdrop for exploring the lofty ideals and greedy impulses that drive today’s cryptocurrency industry.
Duality is something Israelis know well.
More than 430 people attended the D&DD Summit on Sept. 10, several dozen came to the Scaling Bitcoin conference on Sept. 11 and 700 attended the first Israeli Ethereal on Sept. 15, just to name a few of the week’s dozen events.
Venues were packed with crypto tourists sipping espressos and pontificating on typical blockchain fodder: token governance, “mainstream” adoption and the immaturity of those other “vaporware” shills.

With some help of the BTC which is now increasing after a drop yesterday, we are haing a continuation of the W pattern that we started yesterday before the correction. We should go test again the resistance line around 0.18$. Let's hope we will breat it this time and stay upper than this resistance line.
