🗞 How Leverage Can Help With Bitcoin’s Price Discovery

Bitcoin (BTC) is like any other asset class in that it captures value through organic price discovery conducted via trading activity on global exchanges.

Yet leverage and margin trading, in general, can help “turbo-charge” demand for an asset. They can also free up capital, thus increasing liquidity within a given market as traders look to use their capital elsewhere.

It’s an investment strategy of using borrowed money for the use of various financial tools to increase the potential return of an investment.

🗞 Asian Institutions Are Finally Warming to Crypto Hedge Funds

The Takeaway:

Asian institutional investors, mostly high-net-worth individuals and family offices, are increasingly showing interest in digital assets, with some having allocated part of their portfolios to crypto hedge funds.

The gloomy macroeconomic outlook and the news of Facebook’s Libra and China’s central bank digital currency have fueled this interest, market participants say.

Crypto hedge funds in the region face hurdles to getting off the ground, including licensing, banking, custody and insurance.

🗞 Zcash Bug Could Reveal Shielded Full Nodes’ IP Addresses

A bug in all Zcash (ZEC) implementations and most of its forks could leak metadata containing the full nodes’ with shielded addresses (zaddr) IPs.

Komodo (KMD) core developer Duke Leto disclosed the bug in a blog post published on his personal website. A Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) code has already been assigned to track the issue on Sept. 27. Leto explained:

“A bug has existed for all shielded addresses since the inception of Zcash and Zcash Protocol. It is present in all Zcash source code forks. It is possible to find the IP address of full nodes who own a shielded address (zaddr). That is, Alice giving Bob a zaddr to be paid, could actually allow Bob to discover Alice’s IP address. This is drastically against the design of Zcash Protocol.”

The STEEM is still consolidating and we can see that the volume is decreasing and decreasing and this is the sign of an explosion quiet soon. Now don't expect a big move (drop) like we experienced some days ago. That move has been prepared during weeks inside the triangle that we broke. So for the next move, we should move of at least some percents in some hours.
