@tipU STEEM POWER Delegation Profitability Check - 10.08.2018
Hi guys, it's time to do a quick profit check that comes from delegating SP to @tipU and how it compares to other services.
To compare the profitability I'm using https://www.steemdesk.com and selected users that have delegated the same amount of SP to different services. We're looking for the highest APR which means highest profitability. Let's see:
@lavater - last 16 days
@wefund - last 14 days
Looks good to me ;) Also - @tipU still has own, "unused" STEEM POWER so invest option is still active.

A friend of mine have 24100sp delegados ao !smartsteem and receive dayle about 15.200 steem and 8.354 sbd.
If i delegate 12050sp to @smartsteem i will receive about 7.6 steem and 4.177 sbd daily, corretc???
If i delegate 12050 to @tipu, i will receive 5.643 SBD + 0.614 STEEM
So, its better delegate to smart steem, correct????
Am i correct with this kind of think???

Nope - you can see on the charts above that @tipU is more profitable and we can verify it - can you tell the user name of your friend? We'll put that 15 STEEM and 8 SBD daily to a test ;)

One thing you can notice - those payouts are done every 2 days (a little more in fact).
Payout #1: 2018-08-07 22:29:13
Payout #2: 2018-08-10 00:48:21 (50 hours later, not 24)
So this 15.200 steem and 8.354 is sadly not daily. Basically cut in half to compare it to @tipU payouts, and than by 2 again to compare it to @tipU payout for 12000 SP (because this user delegated 24000 SP).
So for 12050 SP this user would receive daily from smartsteem: 2.075 SBD and 3.8 STEEM (5.98 SBD in total)
@tipU: 5.643 SBD + 0.614 STEEM (6.27 SBD in total).

Yes, first I've modified the numbers to daily payouts (2 days -> 1 day) and than to 12000 SP delegated (from 24000 SP).
Basically you were comparing daily payout from @tipU to smartsteem payout that was accumulated trough 2 days.

Also, keep in mind that Tipu is paying primarily in SBD, and thus these are liquid payments. Your payments from others are heavier in STEEM and thus are locked, providing you with an unpredictable rate of return in fiat.

Yep, working on it right now :) Lot's of work because the whole system of accepting deposits and than using it for sending tips / upvotes was based on SBD. But I'm making good progress :)

Only as invest currently. Heck, seems I'm gonna need to add STEEM payments support.
Though if you don't, perhaps SBD will rise again, because it will have a purpose beyond just being a stable currency, and that will benefit us! ;P
