1,000,000 Steem Accounts - @xmlvnx has not posted but did have some activity.
I saw a post today that showed we had 101,887 accounts active in the last 7 days which is not as bad as the 60,000 daily number often reported. Hopefully when we hit 2 million we will have 300,000 accounts active on a weekly basis. I think we could hit 2 million accounts this year.
I'm personally pretty bullish on this platform and think we will see a $10 Steem price by the end of this year perhaps even $100 if everything goes right.
I guess Steem is rated #2 behind Ethereum in China by some Chinese government agency.

I still think this platform has to grow a lot technically. Sometimes the voting does not work. Dtube videos sometimes just do not play etc I'm sure we'll see improvements, but at the same time I hope it can also scale because it will need to with more users.
Yeah I think it can handle 2 million but I'm not sure about 10 million. I think they are working on scaling a lot. It will be interesting to see what happens though. I'm glad I barely ever have any #bandwidth problems though. :) That used to be a daily problem for me. On the downside there is no longer a view counter. I heard they got rid of that to help with bandwidth.
Ah the view counter really is gone! I was thinking I had imagined it. Or that I changed a setting that I didn't know about.
Yeah I really miss it. Theoretically they could have killed it to hide the autovoting but I think it was probably just to free up bandwidth. It didn't count the busy.org views though.

What is a bounty exactly?
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.
You create a bounty by sending any amount of sbd/steem to @steem-bounty together with a post-url in the memo.
How can I earn a bounty Users are then competing for the bounty by writing their answers to the post in comments that will achieve upvotes from the community and especially the bounty creator. The money of the bounty gets distributed to all top level comments of the post at the same time when the post is paid out (7 Days after it was written). How much everyone gets depends on the votes the comments received. The sender of the bounties votes are weighted higher so that she decideds where 80% of the bounty money goes and all other votes determine the rest.@steem-bounty does all of this for you automatically. You can use this service to automatically pay out a challenge, ask a hard question or simply to reward the people that interact with you.
