Officially earned 3000 SP in author reward!
3000SP should in theory, only be half of what I earned
Since it is calculating the SP I have earned then that should mean that 50% of that should also be SBD. That also at times are selling for much more than the average steem. (for example, right now it is almost a ratio of 2 to 1). But let's just pretend 1 steem = 1 SBD, then I should have actually earned 6000SP in total... Now, that is something!
The game of steem
Hoarding steem is fun and seeing all kind of ways you can maximize your SP either through curation, the timing of posts or certain tags have always been fun for me to play around with. I have really over my time here on the steem blockchain found so many ways to thrive.
Steem is the only coin where the price is less relevant to me, I just keep stacking and sell a little bit here and there, a while back I said that 6000 SP was my lowest limit I would ever go, well, now it is a 7000 SP. So I am sure with time as I keep progressing that eventually my magic 10.000SP will be my lowest limit.
It seems like to me no matter how much steem I have, it is never enough.

So despite our awfully low steem prices, cheers for the future! Maybe no one of us is rich(yet) but at least we got steem instead of some dead coin laying around.

Thanks for some positive vibes around steem, haha! When I first joined I remember following the "Estimated Account Value" and I think within a month it was 100 and almost at 200 after 2 months, and now 8 months later, it is struggling to keep itself close to 400. It popped over once, but then fell again.
But at least I am nearing the 300 SP (just 10 times more to go to your level, haha ;D) - the thing I don't understand is that I thought the amount of SP you get paid out shouldn't change with the price of steem, but it seems my SP amount is growing slower and slower too.. I hoped I would reach minnowhood by my first steem year, but I am starting to doubt that that will happen...
I am not sure if I understood your questions completely but I will try to answer:
The amount of steem/sbd we are getting paid depends on how many other people have been using their own SteemPower. That means, in theory, that if only one person would use his SteemPower then he would actually get all the rewards.
So the amount of steem you would earn only depends on how much SP other people are having/using. To my knowledge at least. So it would make sense that people who sell their steem/SP would mean more steem payout for everyone else.
How are you tracking the amount of SP you are earning? if you go to one of your posts directly on steemit.com you can see by pressing the "$" sign the total STEEM and not just the value in dollar.
you can also go to steemworld.com and look up your own account there. This website is amazing to keep track of anything you want to know about your own account. :) You can see how much steem you exactly are getting paid from your posts. :)

Well, didn't really expect an answer to a particular question, haha, I was just "talking" ;) I guess I just meant that I thought that what you get paid out in Steem should be the same no matter the value of steem, so that if I get a, say 100% upvote, from someone with a certain SP when the price is high and that vote is worth ex. 2$ and then I get a 100% vote from an account with the same SP at a time when the value is low, so it's maybe worth 0.5$ - the amount of Steem and SBD paid out would still be the same? Not looking to $ at all?
My point was just that I feel my SP was growing faster when the price of steem was high, but in theory I thought it should be growing as fast, if we don't look at the dollar value. But maybe the low steem price discourage people to be active and therefore everything is a bit slower all over...

by the way, jeg prøvede lige at sammenligne en gammel post med en ny, for at se forskellen på steem/sbd payout, men ser at udbetalte posts kun vises i $ (author/curator)..

So I was all proud of myself today. I bought another 4k SP at 44 cents. Then it kept dropping. Lol. Either I am a genius or really stupid.
You did OK, its hard to get it at the bottom. I got a pile too, great time to buy.
yeah, I just wish I could buy more at this price! The money I used to buy yesterday was in crypto, so it wasn't gain really.. The coins I traded had already lost like 90% of their value.
