Not really. Inflation is built into the system, which is where new STEEM comes from.
That is correct. However, as long as you don't use your right to upvote given to you by the vests you have the Steem remains in the pool. So by executing the process of upvoting you release that potential into the ecosystem. Before that it is merely a ripe apple hanging from the tree waiting to be plucked. :)

I checked out your profile. Looks great! Dropped you a comment and following you. I want to know more about the mobile perspective. I used to have a two-column design for English and German and it looked great. But after many articles like this I finally saw how it looked like on a mobile phone and it was aweful. I stopped doing it because I want everybody to be able to read it. And besides, mobile is the future and the majority of people will access the internet like this.
I discovered steemit via mobile and access it via mobile 99% of the time. It is very important to make sure that your profile and posts looks good via mobile. Thank you for great content.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know. It is hard to imagine for me to handle everything just from mobile but after watching the video from @tojukaka I start to realize how powerful this is. All my posts are now mobile friendly.

Actually when you use busy.org instead of Steemit there is such a function. But I prefer using the original. Maybe the big UX/UI update we all are urging for has such a feature. You have hit a nerve as 10 people agree with you! I am listening to Ya Tu Sabes right now. ;)

I have used busy.org once or twice but like you said I prefer the original too.
You can install a browser plugin like Pocket I think. It saves you links in an interesting way. Personally I gave up on bookmarking me anything on Steemit. Information overload. If I want something again I can still try to search for it but that rarely happens.

There will be tons of new things in a few months. Steemit is realeasing a HUGE update soon, probably ending the beta phase and starting the marketing campaign with millions of Dollars. Say goodbye to what you see now since it will not last for long anymore. ;)

I agree to you @road2wisdom steemit pinned post option is a great idea... This post of @flauwy is really one of the best help for all minnows like me who's trying to power up for more. It's very informative and challenging...I am from a poor family trying my best to upgrade our financial situation and I'm applying for an online job as an English teacher. One of my plans if ever I will be hired is to buy steem power every time I'll get my salary. I hope that is a good plan...

Great and concise summary. You covered these in far fewer words than I could have. In particular, some like #4 we, as a community, tend to get bogged down in lengthy debates on.
Steem is certainly a tool with diverse applications.
Sometimes it is helpful to shorten your words. Usually we use 90% more words than necessary. It is an art and usually I am not the best at it. Seemed to have worked out well here, though.

This is one amazing investment advice @flauwy. Steem as a cryptocurrency has more than bitcoin because it would be easier right now for the price of steem to hit $3 than it would be for bitcoin to hit $8000 plus before the year ends. Grea
