⏺ We are all human. Why limit yourself?
This thought just hit me.
Have you ever had someone who you look-up too? They inspire you by the actions they do, and the things they have accomplished. I'm sure every person has these people somewhere in their life.
The question is, are they really so amazing?
Perhaps the things they have done in their life-time has shown to be impressive, but always remember, nothing is ever as amazing in reality as it may seem.
Many people like to associate these 'amazing' people as idols. People they strive to be like and would do anything to be in that person's shoes. The reason I am writing this article is because I realize that anybody that has accomplished anything great in life, has only been human. Just like you.
There is really no difference. Sure, we can get technical and blame talent, and genetics, and brain power, but I say 'scrap that crap'! That's already limiting your belief. Personally, I don't believe in talent. Now, sure some people can have a few genetic disadvantages, but excluding that, no one person is any better than you are. You need to understand that!
You have so much potential. We all do! But we waste it. We are only currently using single-digit brain potential according to research. Your body is capable of doing the utmost incredible things, if you allow it to.
No matter what it is that somebody else has done. I don't care if it's Bill Gates programming Windows, or if it's Elon Musk building his own rocket, they are both human. They both just decided to use what they have been given.. And that's ingenuity.
Whatever it is you have in-mind in your dream to do in your life, I am not phased even one bit how dramatic you think it may sound, I want you to know that you can definitely achieve it. You can be the very best at anything in the world. The person at the top is still only human.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you can just decide on being at the top of your game and everything will happen, 'just like that'..
No! That's just being naive.
It's going to mean that you need to work both harder and smarter than the person at the top! But if you are willing to do the work, do not EVER let someone tell you that you cannot do something. You can, and if you're ready, you will!
If you are currently just sitting around, while feeling a little guilty for no doing anything productive, without a real purpose, I highly encourage you to make a change ASAP! Get yourself into gear and start taking actions on the things you really want.
More than how much my posts can make, I care far more about getting my content in front of newer faces. So if you would like to show your appreciation, you can share this with others!
I want this blog to be a happy, motivated place where you guys are free to engage and say whatever is on your mind. A place where if you have something on your mind, no matter how dramatic it may be, you can feel free to speak. Resteems are appreciated!

I think that is a huge problem with a lot of people in today's world. They see other people who are "on top" and think it's simply not attainable... and that just isn't true.
This people in those positions are just like you said, humans who had a goal set and out their all into achieving it no matter what obstacles were in their way.
Most of the brightest and most successful people in today's world either came from nothing , or had their ideas ridiculed and turned down time and time again.
The difference between them and most people is they didn't let the negativity stop them from what they believed in. They used it as fuel and continued to push through until they achieved what they had set to.

Killer attitude in the best of ways!
Keep it simple simple -
One of the greatest lessons I learned was that sometimes we just got to get out of our own way and dare to move when we feel the resistance in the pit of our stomach - this is attitude is what i call living on the edge of time...because it's with this approach that we are always making the deep dive into the depth of ourselves and open ourselves up to the sea of opportunity here in which we have many resources at our disposal.

I agree and sometimes just doing something is better than doing nothing. I know for me I've struggled in the past with being consistent. One of my goals for August is to improve that and just do something every day no matter how small.

Thanks for that. It's so true. In the beginning I believe in order to launch your success, you need to work very hard, but you don't have-to keep at that pace. If you just work small daily actions, things will work wonders if you stick to things! I also had this problem far too many times in the past!

Great post and many deep thoughts. You are so right I think we all have people who we look up to. In my case it's my parents.
They have been through so much pain and hard times in their life, but never hesitate to help others no matter how hard their situation has been. Im not trying or want to be them but to take all the good parts and make it my own.
That's the spirit I want. To never give up and believe that I can do anything I put my heart and soul into 😊
To work hard to reach my top but never forget to stop and helping others along the way.

Yesterday I noticed @ned downvoting @officialfuzzy posts to zero.
I tried to find out what was the cause.
I found out that @dan started downvoting @sweetsssj posts about 15 days ago.
@sweetsssj stopped posting, so did @officialfuzzy
So are these steemians pawns in some power struggle that we do not know about?
To both of you @dan and @ned , downvotes are not private they are public.
People are not pawns, they have feelings, and hopes.
You should not downvote people in that fashion using your power on the platform without giving the community a reason.
This is starting to look like guilt by association.
If that's not what it is, then give these people a decent answer.
Not only them, "We" want to know why are you playing " Judge, Jury and Executioner " ?
On a platform you guys claim to have made for libertarians.

Sweetsssj isn't not posting because of that though.. She told me before the incident that she was going to take a break. She is traveling to her new location. I don't know what the story is with all of this, but Ned and Dan are the founders and CEOs of this platform. I am sure they know what they're doing.
There must be a defined reason for everything. I know Sweetsssj has posted about the Bahamas for some time now.. Maybe Dan down voted because it's getting a bit much.. Not sure though. I will talk to her soon to find out what the story is..

I hear what you're saying and I took your position once in a conversation I had with my dad. (or at least I think so, it's where my mind went when I was reading) There are some things that are not crap to be scrapped because they are real limitations that cannot be ignored or even overcome in the sense of if you believe it you can achieve it.
Let's use the example of a paraplegic. A paraplegic is not going to run the Boston Marathon no matter how much they believe they can or will. However, the heart of your message is to be a doer, and overcomer because no one achieves anything because they're special, but because they believed in themselves and worked for it.
So while a paraplegic is never going to "run" the race, baring a miracle, they can participate in and complete the race, even win it. But they have to acknowledge their limitation and overcome it.
I also thought of Tony Melendez, born without arms, and when I looked for him, I also found George Dennehy and Mark Goffeney, two more guys born without arms, and all of them play the guitar, well. None will ever be Joe Satriani, but they are all very good.
But you are right, the worst limitations we put on ourselves are in our minds.

Yes i had a few that inspired me grow in what i do.
But i never had that idol thing. This is the worst thing. One is respect for him and thanks for motivational reasons and another is to let it overwhelm you at the wrong rank.
We are all equals and it depend on us how can we manage our skills, intuition and aptitudes.
In photography for example i had 2 persons that helped me just with advices and a little bit from what they do. More from what they said about what i do when saw me shooting.
And they helped a lot. I always go to technical about things and then was the begining of my simple thinking about what i do.
And so on...
Inspiring and motivation are the best things that can power us to be better at what we do.
Hmm, i think you should have a real blog, where people can come to read some of that articles later on. Here they will be lost in time.
