Steem vs. USD
The price of Steem has settled back down today after an explosive pump two days ago, and is dancing on the long trend line once again.
The next day or two will tell us if the last pump was merely a one-off event. While it's possible for Steem to reach even lower lows, I don't think the momentum from the last pump is gone. We'll have to wait and see.
Based on the 1 hour RSI, Steem is back in the oversold territory, although still a bit above the bottom if comparing to previous RSI lows.

I heard that steem price was manipulate by pump and dump groups in the last spike
it's possible, although a majority of the pumping was done in Korea. A lot of the same thing happened last fall too, where korean's pumped SBD through the roof and into outer space.

I still need to top up on Steem to lock into STEEM power as we head into the summer. Thoughts on whether it will drop down again and to what level?
Always possible yes but I wanna make sure I hedge on the probability.
The hourly chart looks interesting, hard to believe the price is going to be dropping that much more based on the RSI, maybe a little.
I've updated my post with the 1 hour simple and log charts, they are quite useful right now.
