STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME CONTEST - SEASON 6 DAY 8 ROUND 2 - 575 SBD PRIZE POOL SO FAR

Tom, back once again.... He always seems to do a good job at thinning out the herd.
Not that all options get picked, but due to the Play-A-Long Pocalypse Game being run by @novaatebatman, I will be providing results for options.
DAY 8 ROUND 1 RESULTS
OPTION 1 – Try to take all the cans.
Tom is usually a pretty serious guy, and often he is telling the truth. This time it was no different. Anyone seen attempting to take Tom's backup food supply soon found themselves being shot to death.
Players who chose Option 1 are now dead and can wait until Season 7 to join back in. Thanks for playing.
OPTION 2 – Try to take one of the cans
This option ended up being just as poor of a choice as Option 1...

OPTION 3 – Try to have one person cover while the other takes all of the cans (for teamplay).
For some it may have seemed like a better idea to go in with someone covering them. However, Tom was watching the whole thing go down. First, he aimed at the one doing the "covering" and then at the one who had been trying to get the cans... but was now trying to run away...
Players who chose Option 3 are now dead and can wait until Season 7 to join back in. Thanks for playing.
OPTION 4 – Try to have one person cover while the other takes one of the cans (for teamplay)
This was a different option with the same results as the previous one.

OPTION 5 – Try to make friends by shouting friendly to Tom.
"Hello, Tom? I'm friendly." Some of the players began to shout.
A short silence was broken by a loud reply.
"Well I'm NOT!" Tom shouted back from somewhere out in the woods. "Leave or die trying!"
Not willing to risk any further discussion, the players who chose Option 5 took off into the woods.
The sound of gunfire thankfully did not follow them.
Players who chose Option 5 have now progressed to the next round.
OPTION 6 - Try to run!
After taking one look at the sign, many of the players took off running... and made it out alive.
Players who chose Option 6 have now progressed to the next round.
DAY 8 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
Thankful to be alive, the remaining survivors cut through the woods and thicket. Soon, a concrete path is found meandering through the wooded landscape. Not sure if that is a good sign or not, the players cautiously follow it for a bit.
After a distance, they hear a trickling stream somewhere in the woods. Then, they notice something lying on the road ahead.
It is a dead snake, but it has also been run over. Sometime recently a vehicle must have passed this way...
All that aside, this snake could mean food, one way or another. Let's see what the options are.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 – Try to run away.
OPTION 2 – Try to eat the snake raw.
OPTION 3 – Try to cook the snake using a Magnesium Firestarter and eat it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter)
OPTION 4 – Try to leave the snake there and use it as bait to see if something else comes to get it.
OPTION 5 – Try to take the snake to the stream and use it as bait to see if something else comes to get it.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
IMPORTANT: The Backup Food Supplies are in one ration portions, which can feed one player and keep them alive for two days. Also, if for some reason you decide to change your choice prior to the 24 hour response time cutofff, please contact @novaatebatman to make sure you are registered under the correct option.
Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:
I have gas, a magnesium firestarter, a NOTE, a PLANT FIELD GUIDE and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. I must eat by the end of Day 8. I choose Option 3 this round.
As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of your are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.
PRIZE POOL
The current prize pool is 575 SBD. The total prize pool amount will grow each round until the game is over.

Further along I come across a road, complete with squished animal. I decide that it's an easier meal than hunting something myself. Waste not want not, I say.

@drprepper has: A shotgun with 3 rounds, bottle of gas, flashlight, and a note
We ate some fungus and need to eat again by the end of today DAY 8
Team "Last minute" (@erikaflynn and @bodyinbeta) choose option 3.

OPTION 5 – Try to take the snake to the stream and use it as bait to see if something else comes to get it.
I have a pistol with 8 rounds of ammo, 2 backup food supplies, water purification tablets, a plant field guide, and a note. I need to eat by the end of today to avoid using a backup supply. I choose Option 5 this round.
I need to eat today and since i dont want to risk the bacteria and stuff from eating raw roadkill it seems safer to me to use it as bait in the stream and potentially catch myself a fish or something.

I have a pistol w/8 rounds, a knife, water purification tablets, a plant field guide, and a note. I need to eat by the end of day 8 to avoid starvation. I will use my knife to cut the snake so that I am not completely without. I choose option 5 to take the snake to the stream and use it as bait. Maybe I will find bugs or catch a fish.
Option 5--I have a KNIFE, a PISTOL WITH 4 ROUNDS OF AMMO, WATER PURIFICATION TABLETS, a PLANT FIELD GUIDE, and a NOTE. I need to eat by the end of Day 8.

This pacifist wizard will eat a raw snake. I have a flashlight, a plant identification guide, and an encrypted note. I need to eat this round or die. I choose option 2.

We have:
a rifle with 6 rounds of ammunition, a knife, a flashlight, 2 backup food supplies(that we will eat today), a note (to give to a lucky stranger), a Plant Field Guide and water purification tablets. We have to eat at the end of day 8.
Hmmmmm....not gonna eat a snake I didnt kill..
And bait for what? That is too ambiguous, so we aren't sticking around to see what might showup....
And while Option 1 says...Try to RUN away.... We are comfortable just moseying on out of here. No fresh food, so we'll be popping the top to a can of food each.....munch, munch, num, num.....
You won't see us coming. So be friendly, and you'll see us briefly...as we move on ahead.
I still have one reserve can of food in my inventory, so I choose Option 1 for this round.
Beside the can, I also have an encrypted note, a flashlight and an encrypted note in my inventory. I must eat by the end of Day 8. And that’s what I’m going to do with my last remaining can of food. Yum!

I choose Option 1 and run away. I can still survive without food thanks to the backup supply. Perhaps someone else left it there as bait!

Since a vehicle might have went pass here recently, we think it is safer to just move along.
