Banner 101: Simple guide to finding your way in steemit

In conjunction with the soft opening of the steem-music banner, I thought I'd do a tutorial on how to post banners on your blog posts!

It's real simple but when I started off I had a lot of questions on what a banner means what's it for and how to get a banner! Hopefully this will answer questions for you and feel free to post a comment later if you have any queries! :)

What la?

So what are banners? Posting banners give people a sense of your identity. The unspoken relevance of banners is that they are sort of like your watermark, your copyright, your stamp if you will put it that way. Individually, people can easily identify you and your work by just looking at the banner.

Like how you would look for coffee in Starbucks, you give people an idea of what to expect when they look at your post.

Banners for communities help others identify you as part of that group. In steemit it helps others know more about what the communities stand for. There is usually something that unites communities together so communities will want you to put up banners when you follow through with the virtues that they value.

Also, having a strip of nicely designed image helps boosts your likability of your page because really, it adds a tinge of finesse into your page!

It's real simple! like cut and paste simple! For the steem-music community, I've posted this html here so really, all you need to do is just copy and paste it onto your markdown editor.

simply "Right Click" on the image > go to "Copy Image Location" > then paste it on your posts.

Yes, It's that simple, but not everyone gets it the first time so don't worry, you're in good company :)
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but it usually does work!
