One month Proyecto Cervantes (Vol.20) : We have reached 200 quality posts written in spanish!
Yes. As you might have noticed, english is not our mother tongue. Nevertheless we'll do an effort today to communicate to the english speaking steemit community a major achievement.
Considering that nearly one month ago, the spanish content was almost non-existent. We can be really proud today that the #spanish tag in the main page is becoming more than usual (we are today at position 7, even above steemit).
There are 590 millions spanish speakers all over the world and this had to be taken into account.
This milestone could have not been achieved without the combined efforts of all the project @curie members. Specially thanks to @donkeypong, who was able to set up the team and the resources within days, @anwenbaumeister and @the-alien, who have been working countless hours in the backoffice to peer review the posts submitted and proposed by the spanish team.
The main goal, in this team, has been and still is one: growth. To give rewards and recognition to quality and original spanish content. The criterias are not as tight as they are in the @curie project in terms of reputation, cumulated authors payout, etc. We don't have yet the volume to be too selective. Basically, we can resume the main criteria as follows: no politics, no religion, no steemit, no plagiarism and of course, written in a good formal spanish.
Things may change as the spanish community grows: new projects and new ways of spreading whale curating power are emerging such as the steem guild. We will keep our maximum effort to make the link between this projects and the spanish speaking communities. The more spanish users registered into the platform, the more combined power they'll have. In the near future, it will be a self-sustained system. Good quality spanish content will be upvoted by hundreds of thousands of users, and their combined power will be enough to provide enough rewards and recognition.
As project @curie always says: When this moment arrives, the job will be a well finished job.
Now some numbers
Since the beginning of the project, the 9th of September a total of 57 unique verified authors have posted a total of 200 posts. The cumulated amount rewarded to these posts have been approximately 8438.12 SBD. This means that every post has received an average of 42.19 SBD. In other words, everyone of the 57 unique authors have become an average of 148.03 SBD.
For this, we will also like like to thank the following authors, who day after they since the 9th of September have been brain crunching to deliver great writings, poems, videos, music or pieces of art. All of it linked somehow to the spanish language and the hispanic culture

- Se dará preferencia a artículos exclusivos en Steemit, es decir, que no hayan sido posteados previamente en otras plataformas ya sean online o en papel.
- Se dará preferencia a artículos cuyas fotografías e ilustraciones sean propiedad intelectual del autor o estén licenciadas para su uso libre (por ejemplo con licencia creative commons).
- En caso de incluir imágenes de procedencia desconocida, se habrá de indicar siempre las fuentes (con los enlaces correspondientes).
