ARE GERMANY THE GREATEST EVER FOOTBALLING NATION OF ALL TIME?
When you think of world Football (Soccer) you think of Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Spain and ofcourse Germany.
Certainly in my lifetime so far Germany have won everything there is to win. Brazil won 3 world cups in a row and kept yet trophy, but that was just a great team in a set period of time. Germnay have just continued to produce teams that win consistently.
So to answer the question i would say that Germany is the greatest ever Footballing nation of all time.

Let's just wait and see what happens next year. We have an awesome teamspirit, thats why other teams struggle sometimes. They dont need Messi's, CR7's or Drogba's , they are a team.

Alright Dexter - this is fishing for a 100% upvote, you know how to get me lol. I would love to believe the message, however Brazil still has won the World Cup more often and we always struggle against Italy. Thanks for the post - hope more Football posts to come!

Without the bless of having god-like players like messi or cr7 i have to say that germany, when it comes to morals and teamspirit, are the best football nation ever. and the future of german football, with all the talents like Sané and Werner as well as experienced players like Kroos, Müller, Neuer.. just brilliant :)

No, the best football nation ever is Brazil, most World Cups won, best players (Garrincha, Pele, Tostao, Gerson, Didi, Vava, Neymar, Zico, Rivelinho, Jairzinho, Socrates, Falcao, Toninho Cerezo, Anderson, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo (the fat one), Ronaldinho, Robinho) the list is endless. And no, I don't back Brazil, but when faced with facts you have to concede.

And probably because they've played very few games against them.
True, the numbers don't lie - 5 times champion which we Germans accept. Best players agreed too - but it is a team sport. Brazil will come back to the top again.

Yes, 7-1 but 12-5-5 on games won, tied and lost, this just includes what was then West Germany and now united Germany, for East Germany 3-1-0. As a whole 9 goals ahead against Germany and 6 goals ahead against East Germany. Stats don't lie, I am from Honduras they beat us once in a friendly 8-2, luckily they came out champions a couple of months later (USA 94) so the humilliation was made a little more bearable.
