Back to the ambient church

Back at it.

Reflections and thoughts on:

  • Time
  • Money
  • Health
  • The Future
  • Nature
  • Presence

All from today’s run.

Sort:

With a vision like that, I think you should also add running to your list of ways to approach the summer.

Haha. Yeah, I think so, too. I think it's almost a necessity for me, but one that I somehow find a way to put off and ignore at times.

It's kinda like a meditation in motion.

Looks like you are doing great on your fitness routine!

It definitely is a meditation of sorts.

Yeah, I’m on to something that works for me. Generally my workouts aren’t long enough to get into that meditative state, but they produce a good release. And I tend to get at least one run in a week, so that tends to do the trick. Just put running on the calendar as if it were an interview or a part-time job and make it happen.

Adore ambient music:)
So calming and relaxing, magic cosmic power.

A cool feather on the road:))

And you know, my husband have experienced about the same what you were talking about - such a flash that shows you a moment from your future. It happens very rarely, but it's priceless moments. That time he saw us walking with a boy (our son) but we didn't have a baby at that petiod yet, it was 3 yeatd before his birth-)

That's a great story! Yeah, there are things going on that often defy explanation.

Glad to know another person who gets the ambienty thing!

!

I ran a mile the other day. First time in almost a year. I used running as my time out for reflection, and then I jacked up my achilles. Making me jealous, man! Be well.

Thanks man. Sorry to hear about your achilles. Wishing you healing as you get back out there.

Same as you, running is my reflection time. I'm too antsy to sit down and meditate usually, but when my body's preoccupied pounding the pavement, the mind seems to open right up.

All good. Part of life I guess. Can still run amok with the kids. And it's forced me to delve into other things and pay attention to aspects of life I otherwise neglected or ignored. Like liberty.

Thank you so much!!!

It is always great to have some form of physical and spiritual exercise. That is the time you get much needed relief and sometimes amazing AHA moments :)

Indeed! Well said.

this is very informative ,post like this video more and more..
