Bonn Marathon: Packing & Journey (Race day) [EN]
Of course I didn't sleep so well, wasn't a drama either, but could have been better. But it's normal, even if you've already competed a lot.
And, it's raining, not showers but continuous rain. There remains only to hope that it ends up to the start again as announced.
Now an energetic breakfast, bread with honey and fresh grain dish. That gives a lot of power.
Then we'll pack everything we got yesterday and go.
In the past years it was never a problem to be in Bonn in time, because there is little traffic on Sunday. I hope that is the case today.
We will take the parking garage and not the shuttle bus, because it costs only 2 Euro on Sunday and is quite close to the start. This is a tip from our club colleagues that has proven itself over the last 2 years.
That's enough chitchat now, we gotta go.
