It is a liver testing experience for sure. I found out recently that I have very mild scaring on my liver, which probably explains why I have such a hard time with drinking. It's only the after effects. I still thoroughly enjoy the drinking part 😆

I think once they start to use advertising to flip the bill for those who are not invested in steem and they can comment and post without the whole RC thing, it will be a lot easier to attract and maintain people. I think steemit at least should offer a tiered experience for those who want to interact on the blockchain but not invest intitially. They could about their business posting and commenting but none of it be worth any steem. In theory, advertising would pay for them.
You hit on the one thing that has people running a mile. I'm currently delegating 200 SP to a new steemian simply so she can comment. Her blog isn't really my style tbh and that's no slight on her, but the reality is that I am doing what stinc, or some other entity should be doing... funding (many other people are delegating newbies as well) the retention of a new steemian, regardless of the fact that I rarely visit that blog.
It needs sorting out. I'm not moaning as I'm happy to help, but honestly... I shouldn't have to do this to ensure a new steemian can interact on the blockchain. That should be standard and then community minded people could delegate simply to empower newbies.

Or, people have to power up a certain amountof steem before they can power down. In the mean time they're given RCs to comment at least 10 times/day in the powering up period. The whole name of the game for the economy to work is getting a balance between invested SP holders and earnings out. Ha ha, I need to go to Steemfest 4 and talk about this ;-)
You are so right. A lot of steem is being used to fund other blockchains. It is so important to periodically take a look at the wallet of some people on here

Ha ha, well there were no orgies but the strip club happened. I get wild when I drink. Unfortunately, I also get sick for the best part of a week after I drink 😬 which is frustrating because if you have the constitution to drink, then steemfest is one hell of a 4 day party 😉
The memories are worth a million sick days though, I hope you make it some day Jose!

Detox (elemental diet) had absolutely no effect I'm afraid. I've been really down about it the last couple of months after doing it because I had high hopes it might help heal my gut. No change in my symptoms though ☹️
So this was the first one I read (thanks for the reminder!) about SF3 memories.. gonna scroll through the others as well now.. Nice to see how much fun everyone had, and also even when you're a bit introvert, you can still enjoy. I'm the same, I like having fun, but got pretty used to having time for myself and if things get a bit overwhelming, I sometimes also need to have a bit of me-time .. otherwise I will feel too exhausted afterwards. But as long as you know that, you can anticipate on that, right :)
The trick, if you're an introvert, is to make sure you have your own space Anouk.nox. I stayed in an airbnb with 7 other blokes, and although I did very much enjoy getting to know them, I need my own space a lot and didn't really have it in Krakow at all. But it was fun nonetheless. If I make it this year I am 100% getting a room in a hotel. Even if it breaks the bank. Tbh though, I'm not going unless I can secure decent funds to travel around for a few months as I really want to see Malaysia and Indonesian :-)

It is something to really meet other steemian friends through steemfest because you could establish a better friendship s you have talked to each other already personally.

Ha ha, I wish I could do it! I had a test a few months ago that confirmed I have scarring on my liver .... Which explains why I get 4-5 day hangovers the likes of which ya don't want my friend. It literally feels like I've got good poisoning with lashings of migraine on the side, the day after I drink 😆
