Music Is Magic, Music Is Emotion Number 43: Direct
DI-RECT is a band of young guy's with their roots in Den Haag, Holland. When I first saw them it was in 1999. The played the support act for Kanein local Dutch venues. At that time they played a bit of mix of pop and 'Offspring" like music. They were formed by the father of Jamie (drummer) as 'The next boy band" which played real instruments

Getting Smart With Fiber
Dietary fiber is an indigestible carbohydrate, which means that your body cannot break down fiber in the small intestine, and therefore fiber doesn’t provide energy for the body to use. The fact that digestive enzymes cannot break down fibers means that the content in the bowel is more dilute (= the portion of carcinogens is smaller). Another good feature of fibers is that they bind bile acids, which are toxic for the bowel. Fiber also helps to lower plasma cholesterol.

Word Press Translation Meetup- Gutenberg- Utopian- Davinci
Last weekend (June 14-16), only the largest WordPress event took place in Europe, entitled WordCamp Europe 2018 … And while the event highlighted a variety of topics, such as JS APIs in WordPress, Unit testing, prototyping, branding,...yet the key topic on the show had been Gutenberg, the long awaited revolutionary concept that WordPress has been promoting for some time now.
As officially announced, Gutenberg will be part of the upcoming WordPress 5.0, planned to be released in August this year

Went To See The Elk
The other day I went to the forest preserve that has an Elk sanctuary. It was so hot I didn't see too many of them out. This one however was right up by the fence and was Hiatt starting at us the whole time
WHAT a great visit to a wildlife refuge where you can see elk up close and personal. Have you ever been within a few feet of elk? They are majestic and large creatures! See some images that @armshippie shares from a recent visit to this elk sanctuary.

The Saundetti's Napier Wine & Patatfees Adventure
Last weekend the Saundetti’s went galivanting off to the Napier Wine and Patatfees. @therneau will not appreciate being called that hahaha. Years ago, I joked that if we ever managed to get a family empire going, that would be the name. It’s a combination of my maiden surname, Passetti and his surname, Saunders, which I naturally took on after we got hitched. He hates it and prefers Passau, which I don’t like. We’ll probably have to come up with a different noble name for our future family owned empire
So much to see at this Patatfee... Oh, you don't know what a Patatfee is? Then you have to read @jusipassetti's post to find out what it means. Come along for a fun-filled day at this event.

Standard Image Sourcing for the Qurator Project
Our local Sheriff @brumest wrote an nice and simple post about how to properly source images in order to pass the approval process for the Qurator Project. We see quite a lot of members who get rejected by not using the right images or sourcing incorrectly. We are bringing the hammer down on new and old members. We need to up the quality of posts and in that way up the rewards as well. We know that this might not be the most fun thing to do but in the long run it will pay off, being a respected Steemian/Qurite.

Steemauto Curation Trail
We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.
Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P
