Beating The Apocalypse Blues With Vegan Mushroom And Apricot Risotto

So, a few months into the apocalypse and food’s running short…down to my last three substantial items in the store cupboard: one tin of mushrooms, 1 bag of dried apricots, and a box of risotto rice... Now the grid may be down and social order may be on the wane, but personally I’m one to look on the bright side…. I haven’t yet been enslaved (or worse) by the crazy marauding hordes outside… and so here’s a recipe I knocked up to help beat the apocalypse blues

Repotting Some Experimental Elm Trees

My first experiment started a couple of years ago when I was cleaning out some clogged gutters on a townhouse complex in the late spring. The gutters were filled with leaves and elm tree seeds and some of the seeds had spouted! It's funny how nature can sometimes accidentally create the right conditions for seeds to sprout even though they landed in an environment artificially created by man.

Oreos Are Dangerously Highly Overrated

I am not much of a sweet tooth, but like many of my other convict counterparts here in Australia, I love a good biscuit and a cup of tea (or coffee). Fortunately, in Australia, we have a wide variety of high-calibre biscuits and cookies as well as chocolate to choose from.
I worked over in the United States in 2014 for a little while, Seattle and Los Angeles primarily and the one thing I immediately noticed from my first visit to a supermarket was the crappy selection of biscuits and cookies. All laden with high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavours

We will be sending out some comments with the Tier 0 upvote. We don't think many of the members are aware that it is really easy to move up to a higher tier by showing Qurator some support. Let's hope some of the older members can move up in tiers and we can make the whole community a bit stronger. =)

Tier Updates Finalized

Tier updates are out and finalized. You can check out the post HERE.

The short version is that Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements have changed a bit. Please review them.

• A separate account has been created and 26 000 SP has been delegated to it. @qurator-tier-1-2 will be upvoting Tier 1 and Tier 2 members.

• A large amount of SP was undelegated from @qurator to accommodate for the new account, BUT the upvote weights have been adjust so they should balance out. Just have to see how the Voting Power holds up with the big change.

Steemauto Curation Trail

RIP Streemian and hello Steemauto! The new curation trail is active and running! If you would like to support your fellow Qurites or just earn some extra curation feel free to join our curation trail that is active on Steemauto.

We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.

Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P
