Few None of my business questions (on Steem Blockchain)

in questions •  14 days ago

Governance, Elections, Worker Proposals are some of the topics that we hear in the context of blockchains. This is not just the case of Steem Blockchain. The questions are my own, my own selfish questions asked just to understand the problem.

“If we can really understand the problem, the answer will come out of it, because the answer is not separate from the problem. ”

                                Jiddu Krishnamurti

*PS: The Jiddu Krishnamoorthy is the coolest guru out there who said none should follow him or anyone else. My quoting him is well aligned with my non-belief in isms and in no way I am following anything he said! ;-)

  • scope001: Will the future development of Steem blockchain code, related libraries (Javascript, Python, Ruby), various supporting tools - account creation faucets and supporting tools the responsibility of the SteemAlliance ?
  • scope002: Who will take care of the Marketing of the STEEM token ?
  • scope003: Who will take care of the exchange liaison ?
  • scope004: Once the worker proposals are introduced, will everyone including Steemit Inc use worker proposals to work on any and all aspects of the Steemit blockchain ?
  • election005: Which is the supported mode of election - is it based on stake or based on votes ?
  • election006: Will there be anyone interested in not take part of the elections and if so, what is the mechanism to announce their-non participation ? (Voluntary Declaration)
  • election007: For those who don't agree with the election/candidates but still want to participate in the election, will there should be a mechanism to choose a "neutral stand" ? Something like NOTA (None Of The Above)
  • election008D: Valid Election : Either democratic or stake weighed, its logical for a minimal number of STEEM accounts / holders / value to be part of the election for a true representation.
  • election008: What percentage of the total NAI (Steem blockchain accounts) must participate in the election process to be defined valid ?
  • election009: What is the minimal value of total STEEM in vests or otherwise to take part in the elections for the election to be defined valid ?
  • election010: Once the SteemAlliance "directors" are elected, how long they can serve in the board ?
  • election011: For the working group is there a timelines to come up with a plan of action ?
  • comms012: In the event of our primary communication mechanism, discord becomes in-accessible, in any region what is the alternate means of communication ?

I like Jiddu Krishnamurti talks. Very wise man. My favourite:

"(What we are trying in all this discussions and talks here) is to see if we cannot radicaly bring about a transformation of the mind. Not accept things as they are, but to undestand it, to go into it, to examinate, give your heart and your mind with everything you have to find out.
A way of living differently.
But that depends on you and not somebody else, because in this there's no teacher, no pupil, there's no leader, there's no guru, there's no master, no servant. You yourself are the teacher and the pupil, you are the master, you are the guru, you are the leader.
And, to understand is to transform what is.
You are everything"

Jiddu Krishnamurti

Likely to be the most delightful statement I'll read today.

I'll be checking out your posts for more gems (Oh, no I won't follow you!). I'm having a really weary (as in I'm tired) day, but this was worth turning on the computer for.

lol ...

This post has been included in the latest edition of SoS Daily News - a digest of all you need to know about the State of Steem.

Some very good questions in here.

I am a community manager at Snax. We are trying to make public blockchain based on EOS node. Snax chain will provide transactions over social networks, token supply based on user social influence.

Snax as well as Steemit rewards its users for the content created, but Snax works as overlay solution over existing social networks (e.g. Twitter)

We have no ICO. We already have a testnet, mainnet will be launched this month, and we currently looking for great candidates for Block Producers like yourself. You can find out more about us at our website snax.one

If our project is interesting for you, please let me know by emailing me at tim@snax.one

Looking forward to hearing from you, and keep rocking this world!

Hi, I liked your quotes.

I am not sure what you meant.
