Papa Rodin Promotes #3 - For real this time!
Greetings, Steemians and Steemettes!
Good to have you here again. The last post was more of a water cooler than an actual promotion post. Maybe with a little bit of extra motivational spice added into the blending. You get the idea. With that out of the way, this post I dedicate to blog posts and entries that made me go "Huh, interesting" today or are coming from users that I find worth being followed myself.

What, you want banter and rambling before that!?
.....ah well, fine. So, what can I share with you? Germany won against Sweden yesterday. It was a remarkably boring game to watch, but I did appreciate the last minute turn around. That being said, Germany really isn't bringing its A-game right now. I hope this changes soon because otherwise, this years world cup suddenly becomes even less interesting to me. Usually, I root for Ghana and Germany. With Ghana not even being in there in the first place, half of my world cup excitement wasn't even there to begin with this time around.
As I told yesterday, a friend invited me to come over and watch with some friends of hers. I wasn't really all that into it. As I just said, I am not all that into soccer or the world cup and while I do like my friend, I didn't know any of her friends who were present aside from her boyfriend who isn't my biggest fan.
Which was all the more reason for me to go. Let it never be said that I do not follow what I tell you. I do know how to get comfortable with uncomfortable situations, let me tell you!
Actually, it ended up being quite decent. One of her friends I actually knew because I met her once years ago. Well, "knowing" is a tall word here. My brain is pretty decent at memorizing people, so that helps. We also had some food and, well, Germany did end up winning, so that lifted the mood up as well.
Alright, enough rambling for today, back to business, chop chop!
1. - Why @ned Powering Down Is A Great Thing For STEEM
This post of @taskmaster4450 actually serves as a nice connection between this post and the last one. With all the craze about prices sinking down to the bottom and people panicking, @ned powering down has been taken as yet another sign for the upcoming doomsday by many. Not @taskmaster4450, who, true to fashion to what I said in my last post, was able to see behind this and found the hidden value behind this act. This post is a nice read and should give you some added piece of mind and motivation after reading my last post which is why I recommend it here.
I actually intend to follow @taskmaster4450 around for a while and see whether he keeps posting interesting stuff like that. I hope he does because posts like these are what I like to find in my feed.
2. - Paul Eubanks feat Sonny - Light Years freestyle / Hip Hop / Dsound Exclusive
One topic I haven't talked all that much on this blog of mine so far has been music. Well, aside from this post of course. As a matter of fact, I do enjoy music. All kinds of music, actually. One day, I stumbled about @eubanksito, a blogger around here who posts music regularly on Dsound. I listened to some of his tracks and liked them. He keeps uploading regularly and has been a consistent poster so far, which is remarkably especially when you consider that he isn't just writing this stuff like I am doing right now.
Go to @eubanksito's post and listen in for a while. I am sure that you will enjoy it as well.
3. - BTC Trading Challenge - Day 104 (0.07062 BTC)
One thing I really value in a content creator is consistency and endurance. Both qualities this man called @sawcruhteez has to offer. I have been following his work around here for a while now and while my knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is still limit, I can see that he puts a lot of heart and effort into this self-imposed challenge. Not only has he been doing it for over a year now, he has been documenting it diligently. He also gives us regular updates on how his everyday life is going, which I can appreciate.
I intend to follow @sawcruhteez a while longer and will give him my support as well. I want to be there when he manages to beat that BTC challenge.
Moving on from here
As I did last week, these three posts will be resteemed by me shortly before I put this post online, so give these guys your support. Leave some comments around here if you liked their content because that kind of feedback interests me as well.
I also remember me saying last week that I would like to do something for these people that I mention in this series of mine. As a reward for doing good work, if you so will, once I have something in my pockets to afford it. Well, as it turns out, I just happened to win some 5 Steem yesterday by participating in this contest I actually forgot about. Clearly, actively engaging with the community is showing me more and more positive things the longer I do it.
So with this unexpected amount of currency on my hand, I decided to give this weeks entries in this post one share of @steembasicincome each.
With all of these three being active and consistent bloggers around here, this should come in useful I believe. Congratulations you three. You have earned it.

I think I will save this post for future reference when we deal with people who think featuring other people's posts meant they could just copy everything and regurgitate them back on the blockchain.

I treat steemit more as a hobby than an income source or a business, really.
