Erosion - Haiku Saturday, Round 7, Contest and Community Building, by @prydefoltz
Hi, haiku lovers.
I love this iniciative by @prydefoltz; it's #haikusaturday and it's part of #poetryweekend, a series of weekly contests which starts out on Fridays with #firdaypoets and ends up on Sundays with #deadpoems.
It is a noble endeavor to encourage poetry writing, and it's also a dynamic strategy which I find smart and perfectly suitable in this world of its own Steemit is. It makes me proud it is a woman writer who has come up with this.

The end of the world began at its creation and even that is beautiful to contemplate.
Erosion
Mountains under siege.
The waves advance and retreat.
Slow-motioned battle.

On the planet there is nothing that generates more energy than the sea. Sometimes friend with your gifts and means of transport. Other times, the worst enemy with the erosion of mountains and beaches.

You've summed up the age old battle of attrition well!
Of course the mountains has a clever "aces up it's sleeve", they bring back all the rock they loose through volcano's and other neat tricks...
