Luggage off the boot
Faces on the look
Weakness and being consumed by the journey
Yet pleasure prevails in the beauty of friendship!
A face to two to three to four to all
An eye to eyes to more
Come, hug them!
You develop an unending excitement
You hug and feel the warmth you've never felt
You smile and feel the wrinkles you've never felt
You laugh and feel the caress of its therapy!
What a relief you've not had for long.
What a vacation you've so long anticipated!
What a moment you wished will always come but never go!
There's joy in making friends
There's fulfillment in extending your chain
There's hope in what knowledge can offer
The knowledge of ideas and people
There's satisfaction in seeing what you've heard
There's satisfaction in tasting what you've perceived
Come, hug them!
You see the fat, the slim and the ineffable.
You see the tall, the short and the middle ones.
You see them all beautiful,
Because your eyes are bent and blinded,
By the excitement of beholding their views,
Than the scrutiny of appearance.

Hello all! This is your writing junkie girl inspired by her trip to Abuja for Steemit in Nigeria conference.
This is a simple poem formed from the experiences of meeting those online personalities who had formed a family with me without knowing it.

Steemit has been a home to me and seeing my steemit siblings and parents after a long awaited count and long trip from AkwaIbom State is a beautiful and amazing moment.
This poem titled 'Meeting your people' comprises four stanzas and each stanza comprises seven lines.
