A flower petal
graces a plate,

a spot of color
at the center

of your eye

finds a center
in the white,

pupil reflecting
a plated petal.

The eyes of the beholder .

Beautifully put <3

Your word has a profound meaning that I can not even look at it. You already have advanced poetry writing skills. cool

Beautiful reference to the charm that the full moon exerts on us. She looks at us, if we see her and, from that interaction, a crossroads of emotions jumps, a shock that hypnotizes and causes ecstasy. Your poetry moves me, @carmalain.

This poem made me think of everyone's view of beauty in ''the white'', which is our world that we can change, adding colours to this ''white'' with our eyes... Everyone has his own ''pupil'' that refracts this world its own way...

Simple yet very deep. I think this poem can be interpreted in multiple ways. Anyhow, your words are extraordinary, as always. :)

This is such a neat, concise piece and definitely invites multiple readings. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely.

This poem is showing the prior day's Waldo how those hanging lines should be done, and what they add.

Because each couplet here also leads to the next, but the one two down may not be directly led into from where we are at now. And the only good way to arrange that here is via these couplets.

And the center-pieces in particular work great together, and I also love the gentle chiasmus, that is not direct, but it still invokes an aesthetically pleasing feeling.
And you know what? For such a small poem to invoke this airy and breezy feel of something that is light and yet bigger on the inside? Very well done.

I suspect this can also feed into my criticism of Celibacy and Lost Signals, that I feel you too often try to add more to a piece than it calls for. And yet Waldo showed us that sometimes you do need more, and it has to be more than mere structural artistry. This poem though, nails it.
