Interesting Places in Austria – Ötschergräben
The “Ötschergräben” are canyons around the “Ötscherbach” in Lower Austria, with a very beautiful landscape and nice waterfalls. I was hiking together with my dad at the Ötschergräben and of course I also took my camera with me. Although the weather was very hot I didn’t try the water for a swim. The water of the creek was very cold and as I know from former hiking adventures it could be very bad to jump in a very cold water during a hiking tour. Some years ago I did it and it really felt like the cold water sucked all the power out of my body.

Tripod and filters for longtime Exposures
As I like photography a lot I traveld with my camera my tripod and the filters. I used my Lee Filters to create some longtime exposure shot at our resting places. To the delight of my father I only used longtime exposure shots at special places like the waterfall and the creek. In all other pictures I tried to avoid filters and shot with a closed aperture because of the sunny day.
